Watching them struggle to understand the game is super weird to me. Then again, most of what they don't seem to understand is stuff taught to you in the flash game, and it seems like maybe this doesn't do a super good job of explaining that stuff for new players.

(But then again, I could have sworn the XBLA release was going to contain all the content from the flash game remade in the new engine).

For example, on the "Finish this in 100 seconds or less!" map they face, I am pretty sure the goal is to kick the snail shell in to the little area near the flag at the end, because that's totally something you do in the first level of Fancy Pants Adventure World 2.

Then again, there are probably tutorials and stuff they're skipping because, hey, GiantBomb.

It's 4/20 yo.

The GB always raw dogs it for the QLs. The discovery phase makes them more interesting sometimes. Other times you just want to yell at them.

Yea, it was broadcast live on Tuesday, they just chopped it up into segments for the main site.

I don't think it's going to be a regular segment, so I wouldn't worry about them putting it behind the pay wall
you should subscribe anyways.

Also, I look forward to hopefully seeing Patrick on this week's Happy Hour.
 
Goddamn mod in the chat posted a Portal 2 spoiler. I had to leave. Gonna play the game tonight before people ruin it more for me.
 
I dunno if its really a spoiler or just a lil bit of useless info. But other guys said "spoilers". Guess ill find out tonight.
 
The site goes down and all sorts of live craziness gets busted out. Best day ever.

Some revelations:

1) new QL when site goes back up
2) NDX is ready and will be there waiting for us
3) Portal 2 podcast still on for Friday
4) TNT still happening tonight
 
Someone needs to start hounding them for a Cargo quick look ASAP. Their love for the 360 Banjo meets batshit crazy Russians, it would be 100% amazing.

Certainly blows the Runaway look out of the water. Liking it so far :)

Edit: Also, voice acting = superb.
 
I find them going from really smooth (but kind of jerky and low budget) CG to horrifyingly low-rez sprites that harken back to Monkey Island Lucasarts in the same artstyle really unappealing.
