Took about 40 minutes to take off with all the realistic options on. Ended up getting off the ground for about a minute or so then blew a engine and crashed.

Medal of Honor SP is anything but shit...

It's not shit, it looks and plays well, but it's short, very linear and the story and setting is really generic.

I thought Homefront's campaign was actually pretty good as well.

Yeah i would probably give Homefront the edge in the single player because of its concept. Im playing through MOH right now and the game is kinda boring me despite having all the slick production values you could want.

Military shooters these days have to basically go the Modern Warfare route and make everything more batshit insane than the last entry in order to feel relevant. Its why you basically have everyone nuking each other in MW3 with submarines outside New York City as it esplodes.

MAKE IT STOP.

Glad they dropped the fake 3DS border around the game video, always looked super weird.

It'll be back if there's content on both screens.

I'm a dummy. I thought they had scrapped the lower screen entirely, watching the Quick Look now.

Why do I know that narrator's voice?

edit - did he do "Scary Door" on Futurama? I am confused
Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy) is the narrator in Fallout normally. Haven't watched video, could be wrong

Maurice LaMarche does that voice for Futurama. I haven't watched the QL so I can't compare, but Maurice isn't listed in the credits for Fallout NV.

Thank for the replies. I am not sure if either mentioned are right - maybe I am going the wrong direction with The Scary Door. I feel like I 100% know the voice from previous voice work - either cartoons or video games. I just cannot place it

I started up the Quick Look, JUST FOR YOU, and it's definitely not Maurice Lamarche. It sounds like Cam Clark (Liquid Snake) to me.

I think you nailed it.

As crazy as it sounds, I think I am remember the voice from all the way back to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I know it is not Leonardo or Rocksteady, but it seems to be the exact same voice he used for one of the minor characters on that show - I just cannot pinpoint which one. He seems to be using the exact some style of voice, and cadence, he use for this character that he did for this one, so it is setting alarm bells of in my head.

I thought the NFS Quicklook was alright. Graphics looked decent enough, framerate was smooth, nice sense of speed, I shared the "Oh, shit!" moment with the GB crew when he hit the jump. The idea of a cross-country, cannonball-run style race interests me, and I like that it says what rank you are in the overall game instead of what place you are in that specific race. How they plan on using Frostbyte 2's destruction engine has me intrigued.

Casual Interest +1

Definitely a missed opportunity that they demand you place 1st, though. The game would be way more interesting if you could place wherever.

I try not to get irritated by the way the Giant Bomb guys play games but, man, the way Ryan uses VATS had wasps flying from my mouth. Not waiting until guys get close, using all of his AP even if he had a 3% chance of hitting, not aiming for the head, and just hammering the button three or four more times after he'd run out of shots.

GRR PEOPLE DON'T PLAY GAMES THE WAY I DO

Why did he move Richter out of the house to shoot that guy? YOU CAN FIRE WITHOUT MOVING DAMMIT.

Also, it's better to not use VATS at all when shooting from a distance in New Vegas. You're more likely to do damage.

Oh my god thank you jesus for YouTube uploads. Flowplayer is a piece of shit. Please Whiskey, just embed YouTube videos on the site.

Are you saying the original games weren't tactical shooters?
there has been a steep decline in 'tactics' following the first ghost recon game and it's expansions. Even the upcoming one still has more 'tactics' in it than call of duty, but it's still just a hella tactical bro shooter.
