I'll check out the Demon's Souls quick look later. Too much hype about that game, not enough explaining/showing what the fuck it is besides an RPG. :/
Many people are wondering why DS is such a great game. There are answers in the official thread :)

Borderlands looks boring as fuck. I really hope the demo comes out for it as Diablo 2 was fun. But Diablo 2 + First Person Shooting + "Duels" != Guaranteed success, Gearbox.

Also the "quicklooks" need to be quicker" it seems after Persona (which was reasonable for the introduction to be 45 mins) every Giantbomb Quicklook since has been 30 mins and some games just don't need that for a "quick look." :|

What the hell? I wish they were longer! Get tired of the same game? Turn the video off...unless you're some weirdo who needs to finish every video.

Ive got a crazy idea here, but just bare with me: if 30 minutes is too long for you, why not just skip around and watch different parts?

People will complain about anything. ANYTHING.

"Here's our feature that let's you get a glimpse of a game that you might be interested in. It's a good way to see how a game actually looks in action, without as much of the vertical-slice and quick-cut problems of most promo videos that are out there."

"Ya, but it's just too long! :|"

Dude. Just turn it off once you've seen enough. :| indeed.

hahahahaa oh my god, poor JR :lol

Oh wow, Brad is only 30 years old ? I thought he was like 45 or 50 or something like that.
That 1080p instant streaming thing looked great, but yeah they seem to be directly challenging Netflix with it.
How?

BTW, since when did John Cena steal the People's Elbow?

Also, it seems like most of his wrestling moves, even the grapples were different ways to punch somebody in the head.

Yikes, Twitter and Facebook look awful. Instant 1080p is really, really impressive though. Wow.

Agreed, Twitter and Facebook look clunky. I was very impressed with last.fm though, especially as it wasn't even on my radar.

Sweet, been waiting for this one. That PC version quick look massively turned me off since that's not what I had thought of this game to be, fortunately i've been told the console versions are significantly different as far as gameplay goes.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge what DA played like. Dont tell me you were expecting "The New Shit".

I'm a relatively new Bioware player, not that familiar with most of their past work so it was unexpected for me at least.

I see. If Mass Effect was the only Bioware game you have played I can see how you could be superised. They have said all along it would be a return to the old style pc RPGs they used to make in the late 90s.

Yeah can't really be doing huge single player games on PC for various reasons, even though my PC could definetly handle Dragon Age so it's good to see the 360 version looks like it'll play fairly well.

Also about that Tactics menu they said isn't in the console version, from the comments on the quick look (apparently copied from the BioWare DA forums):

"In short: Tactics is absolutely there, they just didn't find it.

We're letting them know where it is now. You just press "Y" on the character screen, and it has the same level of control as the PC version."

If you watch the video you can actually see the "Y: Tactics" menu option as they go through the menus, they said they looked for it so god knows how they missed it.

Glad they decided to do a QL of the 360 version. I hope it controls well, as my laptop would go into cardiac arrest if I tried to play the PC version. This seems like the type of game that could be pretty busted on consoles.

My interest in DAO has been rising steadily and their 2 QLs really sold me on it. Unfortunately like you trying to run the PC version on my laptop would probably make it wonder what it had done to deserve being put under such strain. Also I don't have a 360, only a PS3, and I'm slightly worried given how these things usually turn out.
