I watched the Borderlands and Demon's Souls quick look. I wasn't sold on Borderlands and I'm pretty sure it isn't my thing now. Demon's Souls has my interest. I wonder if it will drop to $40 in 6 months or if it will be one of those limited print rare Atlus games that stays forever full price.

Borderlands looks fun when in coop but it does look like it could get pretty boring pretty quickly in single player. It doesn't allow for real character creation, right? That's the games biggest offense.

Phew! I guess some of you just have different opinions than me.
I saw that Borderlands quicklook and thought that it looked like a lot of fun. It also definitely looks like it would be a lot more fun to play in person with your own character. I mean, how fun is it to watch someone play Diablo?

Borderlands looks to be pretty much what I was expecting which is awesome, I now however have the dilemma of where to buy it. I can mildly upset my buddy who wants to play it with me on PC but odds are we'll barely play it together and I just won't get the mileage out of it on PC. Tis a toughy.
The power going out during the Quick Look reminded me of the episode of the endurance run where they had constant power cuts, that was an amazing ep.

All the gushing of Borderlands during the past few months Jeff has been giving on the Bombcast, I came into this Quicklook excited and ready to pre-order....
...and after watching it I came away ready to play it maybe never.
As mentioned, the enemies and scenarios looked dull. The most exciting thing to look forward to with the 30 level gap is better healing options and bullet regen?? DUDE THIS TOTALLY RAD NEW SHIELD HAS SUPER HEALING REGEN!!! I know it's just a quick taste of a single build type of hopefully many, but damn I did not see much to get excited over. Leveling up and looting will be in other games this fall.
And yea, the looting will make me never want to play this co-op, which looks like the reason to even play.

Damn Tekken looks so good. I'm terrible at 3D fighters but this is making me consider a purchase. 
Yeah. I have a stick for 360 but I've always played Tekken with a dualshock so I might go with that.
