I have little to no interest in Avatar, but Jeff's 'why' thing was totally obnoxious. I got through a maybe a third of the video before closing the window, fuck that noise.

I think he has a point. Seems to me like the game just doesn't make a lot of sense if you haven't seen the movie.

But from what I've seen of the movie it seems that doesn't really make much sense either.

Was Untamed the predecesor of Reflex? If so, the series has improved alot. The gameplay looks quite hard but interesting.

I always try the demo of those games hoping they'll instill the same feeling that the original ATV Offroad Fury did nearly a decade ago. That game had the perfect preloading system, where the tracks were built in a way that if you were on a perfect run everything flowed beautifully. The fact that it was an ATV on a track sort of disappeared as you entered this zen state through the rhythmic jumping of the bike.

Someone needs to lift that physics model and make a game around it or re-release the original on PSN.

But from what I've seen of the movie it seems that doesn't really make much sense either.

Most movie-tie-in games don't make sense out of the context of the movie they're based from. I would assume this is an issue of the Studio refusing to let a game give too much of the movie away. Given how James Cameron tried really hard to keep parts of this movie a secret, Ubisoft is probably limited with what they can say or do in order to make people go to the theater in order to get "the other side of the story".
