Is there a decent way of getting to watch Giant Bomb video's on my TV via my PS3?

I think I could download in flv, and then convert, but that is an awful lot of work :(

They should play on the PS3 browser directly, either through their website or their Youtube channel.

Otherwise, you'll have to snag their FLVs with something like DownloadHelper then either convert them with Handbrake and copy them over to your PS3 or just stream them directly to your console from your PC via a real-time transcoder solution like PS3MS or TVersity.

I rescind my previous statement about a Metal Gear Endurance Run. Yakuza 3 seems like it would be a glorious fit for a new Endurance Run and the game could probably use wider coverage.

Apparently no one at Amusement Vision has taken an animation class in the past 15 years. Either that or they know they can cut some serious corners and still sell because of the fan base.

There's a relic that you can equip that extends the time allowed between hits for a combo. I was stuck on that part for so long before I figured that out.

Player has updated for me.

Looks like you can choose between streaming and "progressive" which is presumably what we're used to.

Nice comprimise.

Edit: Of course it doesn't seem to be working yet but assuming it works as advertised should be cool.

That it does. And great job by Giant Bomb, switching back to the old player so quickly after the first update until they had something new to put in place. Granted, the fact that all of the anger would be directed at one of a half dozen guys probably makes the internet outrage a lot less bearable.
 
Hmm, I dunno how I feel about the new fullscreen feature. While it is nice to have it fill up my whole screen now I also feel like I'm missing out on part of the picture. Maybe they should have a toggle for that?
 
I wish the Giant Bomb video player had some easy way to change the resolution of the embed code. So few pages actually use 640x360 resolution, and changing those numbers is easy, but a pain.

If you've got Adblock running it won't let you play videos. (Just add a exception to giantbomb in adblock if you do)

Alright, I can get behind this new player. It's not shit like the last time they tried this. If only itunes 9.0.3 wasn't shitty and lock up my comp as well I'd be happy.

And damn Ryan, is that last part really that difficult or is he missing something in his tactics?
 
The video is almost perfect, if it wasn't for re dimensioning videos to your screen when you go fullscreen. It's screwing up with the aspect ratio, and it's even worse in 4:3 screens. Once they fix that, it'll be perfect.

Just tried this and still no luck. Ah well, I guess using IE every once in a while is not that big of deal.

And wow at Ryan's Inferno. That looked incredibly frustrating.
 
The new player isn't working very well for me. The videos stop every 30 seconds to buffer the next 30 and it doesn't buffer more than that so...... :/

I have had adblock disabled on Giant Bomb forever, won't play for me either.


edit: Okay, I'm mildly retarded. I've had giant bomb's main page on my adblock disabled list. Sorry about that, GB! That's fixed :lol
