Takes about 43.5 gigs though, so that's a lot of DVDs to burn if you're not going dual-layer - which is why it probably wouldn't be feasible to mass-produce and sell.
And also because as cool as Atlus was with letting Giant Bomb do the Endurance Run, I don't think they'd be so cool with Giant Bomb selling footage of themselves playing through the game. :\

Entire Endurance Run remastered on Bluray plz. Or HD-DVD: the look and sound of perfect.

This is why I didn't think it would happen. A man can wish, though.

EDIT: Also, I am only on video 50 of the first ER. I have been following GB since the beginning, but I couldn't keep up early on and I haven't had time until now... It's amazing so far, though.

Evolution has sold DVDs of their annual fighter tournament for years: various Street Fighter, Tekken, VF, and Soul Calibur games - sometimes with commentary. How would that be any different? Assuming they didn't need permission from Capcom/Namco/etc.

Also, GB needs to do a QL on Sakura Wars already. :(

Samurai Shodown SEN

who's jeff gonna murder this time?
Oh, man... When I saw the trailers for SamSho Sen, I knew, from the overall look, that it would be bad. But that... that was just terrible. It seems from the stage select menu, every stage is dark in some way, presumably, as they pointed out, to cover up the poor stage graphics. $50? :lol Yeah, I would like to see who watches that video and remains excited about that paying that price for it.

So I just realized last night that the new Giant Bomb video player does work on the PS3 browser (I couldn't get it to work after they changed, user error I'm sure). Good news is that I'm just in time for the new ER, but I have a backlog of QLs and other videos to get through now.

What are the best videos that I missed (since they changed to the new player, 1/2 months ago I guess)?

i wonder if it will be 2 ER episodes a day (1 bryan episode and 1 jinny episode) or alternate or what

my guess would be alternating weeks of brad/ryan and vinny/jeff. that way they only have to play the game once every 2 weeks.

Watched the whole Brad and Ryan part and enjoyed it. But I can't deny that the first seconds of VJ episode give me that true ER feeling I've been missing. :D

How did you get it to work now? The video window shows up but nothing responds when I click on anything.

Final Fight Double Impact looks great. LOVE the constantly updated challenge feature. Want more games to do that!

I just noticed theres some options in the video regarding Streaming and Progressive. Whats the difference between the two?
Progressive downloads the video to your cache and plays it via the flash player.
The old system.

Streaming is well streaming... If you want to skip ahead, the media player tells the server what data it wants and the servers sends you that. No full video file will ever be saved on your local disk.

Progressive for people that want to download the file before viewing it (maybe because their connection isn't up for streaming) and streaming is for everyone else. Convenience and such.

I never played Magic Sword before. It looks rad! Crazy projectiles and super fast levels! May have to pick this up sooner rather than later.

Gotta make sure Javascript is off, which is weird because it's the opposite of just about every other video player. Trying to search by category like QL or ER still sucks, but at least the player works if you link directly to the video (like from this topic).
