What's with the oversensitive reticule on The Shoot? It's annoying me to the point that I don't even care to watch the entire quicklook.

Wow, loading times are dreadful!

Euro demo has been up for a while and the whole game seems to be pretty terrible. If you want a light gun shhoter for move you better wait for Time Crisis. That game looks way better.

And wow @ those DJ Hero 2 lock ups.

You have not missed anything. Game doesn't justify its crazy load times.

There's no filter for movement, but that means that there won't be any lag either. So that's the trade-off, I guess.

What is it with PS3 games? It seems the simpler they are the worse their load times. Nobi Nobi Boy and Trash Panic have surprisingly long load times, too.. compare to something like Uncharted 2...

I read it's because Jeff has 100 friends. Dunno if there's any truth to that. Will surely be fixed with a patch. Still fucked.

Absolutely still fucked. There were games before that had this problem, why don't they test this?

Microsoft Cert seems to be slipping bad lately. This freeze glitch, Super Meat Boy save and leaderboard glitches, Fallout New Vegas...

With the company behind it going under, are they done for good? Sucks, but it was going the way of old yeller eventually.

There were a post on the xbox forums about it possibly switching developers, and this week's lack of content was due to the transition and the focus on the new website. Nothing that seemed official though.

Doubt it. I don't think Krome was actively working on Gameroom past launch. They were just plopping out games every week.

Apparently nothing came out on Game Room this week.
Not true. Jackal (arcade), breakout (2600) and Double Dunk (2600) came out this week.

EDIT: Gah. Just checked and they weren't released and the Game Room homepage ceases to exist. :lol

You know I was thinking that looked pretty good. I never played or saw much of the first DJ hero and after hearing of some places doing bundles with 1 and 2 and a turntable I thought that'd be a nice Christmas prezzie. Then it crashed. Twice. Yeah... Don't think I'll go anywhere near that game.

it’s been said before, but it ’s a bug that occurs when the fiends list is full with 100 friends.

still an awful bug but it may not affect you.

Well, Cert has been behind from what I've heard, they might've rushed stuff through.

So I just saw the Front Mission QL, and it annoyed me to no end that they kept pronouncing Wanzer wrong. It annoyed me so much, that I couldn't finish the QL. I know, I'm a nerd.

Oh cool. I don't think that would affect me. Ok, game redeemed.

It certainly looks pretty in a screensaver kind of way, but there doesn't seem to be anything interesting from a gameplay perspective.
Yeah, those were pretty much my impressions. It also wasn't really clear to me how the music influenced what I was seeing on the screen as well, so that didn't help.

That's my experience with the game so far. Luckily that's what I had in mind when I bought it. I mean, there are enemies, you can shoot them and you will get points, I just never felt compelled to. I was happy using it as a controllable music visualiser.

Try playing with the display settings. Try out different patterns & effects, some make it clearer than others. Even so, the music never really 'generates' anything as far as I can tell, it just influences the landscape that's already been generated. Standard visualiser stuff really.

What about the Killzone 3 beta differentiates it from any other online FPS? You have by-the-numbers guns, you're running through industrial settings, shooting guys. Outside of the eye candy it looks as generic as generic can be.

Not-quite-eye gouging.

Boo this man!

Why do people come to a thread to boast that they "don't get" a certain game or genre. It's like walking into a classroom and saying I don't "get" math.

The Platform that it's an exclusive game to. That's pretty much it.

Since they can't troll in the official thread for fear of bannination, they gotta do it somewhere else! That guy is just asking for massive derailment of this thread.

Do you know how many games you could replace Killzone 3 with and come up with the same argument?

For example:
