Some really great quick looks to start off this year. That Enslaved DLC looks really cool. I was watching Vinny's screen exclusively for the Raskulls one. I had to move it back to look at why Ryan was yelling. :lol

Your loss. That QL was fun as hell, especially the second half.
Yup. Both new QLs were entertaining to watch, but somehow I don't want to play/buy these games at all now. :p

Never liked Mr. Driller and the other thing looked like a standard twin stick shooter like a million others out there. Bit fancier on the presentation but I can play so many of those for free on the net, it has to be something really special to get me to buy one.

I got over myself and watched the rest and, yeah, that was pretty fun. About three seconds after I stopped watching is when Ryan starting giving Brad the business for his nonexistent Mr. Driller skills. I appreciated that.

The hell?

When they finally do a PSN release, it's Tetris? Where's Echocrome 2, Kung-Fu Live or Eat Them? Even Top Darts would be more relevant.
Why is it surprising? Tetris is very popular and the title would attract a lot of people who would otherwise ignore most other downloadable titles.

Oh wow, the recent comment below the quick look has a great picture from a Tetris review from the GS days.

I doubt they use their business senses when they put up stuff like THIS.

Also, why must one eliminate others?

It's a Jeff & Ryan review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTTX81VdC1A
It's like the worst QL ever.

I'm not saying it was due to a business reason, but that Tetris is big enough that it would attract one of the 4 GB guys into wanting to do a QL.

You know what amazed me most about this video? That someone was able to release a broken Tetris. This is really is unbelievable. :lol

Every version of Tetris has that feature now, it hardly breaks the game. Although alot of people really dislike it.

Can't call that broken. For instance, Grand Master Tetris has that, and that game kicks ass.

"They broke Tetris."
"How do you break Tetris?"
"By doing this."
"So you're saying that they broke Tetris."
"Yes, they broke Tetris."
"How do you break Tetris?"

Goddamn. Ryan looks like he's 15 in that video. :lol

I know this may be spinning way off topic, but I'm glad to see Jeff got a grip on his health as he got older. His hair is thinning out now, but he looks a LOT healthier now than he did in the Gamespot/early-Giant Bomb days.

I know we all went over this back during the Kinect marathon. Watching this video only reminded me that I really wish Ryan would do the same. According to Ryan's bio page on GB, he'll be 32 in June. Ryan already looks like a ticking timebomb nearing a massive heartattack. Listening some of his consumation habits he discusses on the Bombcast makes me feel geniunely uneasy.

It's not a matter of aesthetics nor am I trying to judge. I know these people have no idea who I am personally and likely never will. With that being said, I still like them and what they contribute to the industry. I want all of them to be around as long as possible. Hopefully what Jeff's done can inspire Ryan to do the same before it's too late.

I just watched the entirety of this. So they take turns playing and it's a quiz show in the meantime, but with celebrity guests?

The celebrity guests are once a year or something. It's just "regular" people most of the time.

They don't really take turns, the one that pushes the button the fastest gets to answer first. When correct he can drop a block and try to get a line. That quiz has been going for AGES here.

I also chose that fragment because it immediately shows the familiar Tetris grid.

Ohh I see. Hell it looks more entertaining than some stuff here.
