Ryan seems way happier than usual. His sick laugh is contagious.

It has local co-op? Oh, I might pick this up then.

Yeah. On PC that means you have to use controllers for the other players (no multi-mouse support like Trine unfortunately) but it works.

Incidentally I found out that a single USB 360 wireless controller adapter works with multiple controllers.

I was just thinking about that. There aren't enough buttons on the 360 controller, right? I also have 4 arcade sticks, but all of them have 8 buttons.

edit: Maybe map the attack and magic cast to the right analog stick?

You get a radial menu. Uses the right analog stick: Four directions then two to give you the eight elements. The spellcast buttons are the triggers, and misc stuff is on the face buttons.

Ahh gotcha.

It may help to read the tutorial tooltips in some of these quicklooks...like 30 min into the Magika QL and Brad still doesn't realize his elements cancel out. You don't just mash dude...

It's a combination of gibberish, English and Swedish. Many of the Swedish words are also said in very silly ways (ie, cheese is "ost" in Swedish, but they say "oster" in the game).

A Brad QL can only go one way.

It's a weird mix between Swedish and English, if you know both languages some of it makes sense, but it's not a real language.

Edit: Beaten

En skogsgädda!

It's pretty funny to listen to.

I bought Magicka right away after the quick look, but I'm having more trouble getting the hang of the spell-slinging than Brad did. Having my fingers on WASD and...not moving with them..muscle memory cannot cope.

Also ran into my first road block with the shaman, should probably try multiplayer.

Are all console FPS games this slow or was it just Jeff? For the month I played Black Ops there was a lot more jumping around corners with the little ak74u.

COD on a console is slow, and usually boring.

I watched two questions then realised I want to buy this game so.. uh.. I guess I should not watch the rest since I want to still be able to play Episode 3...

Such a good game.

I still remember how impressed I was by Karklin's realistic face when I saw it on the Wii. So good.

THAT WAS FUN ! :D

As a non American I have never seen YDKJ

But I always love the GB's gameshow QL's and this one again was a LOT of fun to watch.
I could watch them doing this entire game all day long!

Great job
whaaaat? You missed out, man. :/

It definitely existed in Europe. The German version of YDKJ are among the best localisations of any product I've ever seen.

edit: reading up on YDKJ's history, it looks like only English, German, French and Japanese versions were ever made. Bummer for those who missed out.

Yeah down under I pretty much had every PC YDKJ they made except for the Ride, even the sports one for some reason.

Shame I see no word of a PAL release, it makes me sad. I want them to have my money.

Do you have a 360 / PS3 controller handy? The game works really well with a dual analog controller (left stick controls movement, right stick handles magic).

Hahahaha holy fuck that was funny. Had absolutely no idea about this game but after watching that video I ordered it instantly.

It looks very good. Too bad none of my friends speak english.

I'd love to see them doing a local TNT of this with the screened and tested guys.

haha...I don't want to rag on the guy too much, cuz he's genuinely interested in PC gaming. One step at a time, I guess.

Well, the man can apparently play a mean Starcraft game.
