Alex does best when he's driving the thing. I thought he was great in that Mario sports game QL, while he's at his best with the Screened video features.

I love Brad and Vinny QL's. Vinny trying to get Brad to do the stupidest stuff is hilarious, and Brad being defiant until he finally gives in and something awesome happens from it is great.

I was making observations, not trying to assert some sort of inside knowledge pertaining to Alex's psyche. And if you don't think that people are constantly trying to fit in, even subconsciously, then you lack a certain understanding of human nature.

That's the strange thing about Explodemon... in footage, it doesn't look like a large amount of fun. But when you're playing it? It's great! Very strange stuff. But I totally get what you mean, It just doesn't look good.

His reply to me contained like 3 uses of ad hominem. Not sure to what you're referring. He attacked my character rather than my argument multiple times. He also claimed that my argument was invalid due to an irrelevant premise.
 
Yea not so sure on Explodemon. 2d art is really unappealing and the crazy amount of GUI seems to be really distracting. Vinny was funny as hell in that quick look though. Brad seems to be having a brain fart day or something. That was torture watching him play.

My thoughts exactly. I had to turn it off after the 'reflecting bullet' sections, just cringe-inducing playing. (Though it was hilarious when Vinny took over for a split second and nailed the section immediately)

Agreed with Vinny that the text interludes probably do worse for the game than good.
 
It wasn't so bad as Brad and Alex being fuck awful at instructions. Most of their problems were things that had me rolling my eyes because I could immediately identify what they were doing wrong.

I find that seems to be the biggest problem in quick looks. I mean I get they are supposed to be entertaining but it's so annoying when the people in control just skip past tutorials or instructions and then get stuck or don't have a clue what's going on and blame the game.
Like in the explodemon one where brad was trying to blow up the rocket launchers and it took him a while to realise he had to deflect them, just like the pop up box said right before he entered the room.
I loved it when Vinny took over and just did exactly what I wanted him to do.
 
Did anyone else notice some video compression issues at the start of the brain quick look?

Bunch of videos today off their site ive seen glitchy compression problems.

They do seem to sometimes push a bit too much towards the "quick" rather than the "look" :P
 
where is the MvC 3 quicklook already? at this point i will only be satisfied with a 10 hour live streamed quicklook featuring special guests, Dave and some move remember time.

i hope they cover cladun at some point too since there is something of a drought at the moment. seems like something Jeff would download and i guess they might of missed it being PSN only.

I expect it tomorrow. They rarely get any cool content out on Mondays.

It'll probably be TnT and they may have it on the happy hour so with a QL that's 2 or 3 hours of it.
