From the Radiant Silvergun quick look comments:

Brad "oh god" count: 8

Brad "take it" count: 1

Hahahaha! I hope this is something that's being kept track of over multiple quick looks and I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice Brads over-reliance on these two phrases. Also: Brad sucks at games, shouldn't be playing this quick look with Jeff right there etc.

actually brad pulled of an amazing escape in that quick look (radiant silvergun) that impressed the shit out of me. then he followed it immediately with a bonehead death. really reminded me of my own playstyle. escpecially when it comes to shmups. anyway, i am still of the belief that brad is a good gamer. he could not be such a good starcraft player if he wasn't. i think he is just similar to myself in that he needs some time to get acquainted with a title and that he eventually becomes quite proficient. i think that is pretty normal.

for example: last night i struggled for two hours to beat the first level of ikaruga (was the first time i ever played it). yet i can do a one life run through nes contra. these games are heavily dependent upon memorization.

He is better than it sometimes looks for sure. See Quake TNT and so on, he is killing it. I also overlook things and make mistakes, which the majority here does not seem to do (I bet they do, they just lie).

Ever watch Jeopardy and said "Man that was an easy question I can't believe the idiots they have on there? I'd be so rich if I got on the show."

So did everyone who's ever been on Jeopardy.

Ryan is such a Kirby fanboy.

The DS has made it hard not be a Kirby fanboy. Power Paintbrush was fantastic, this looks just as good and having the Super Star remake certainly isn't working against that. And Squeak Squad wasn't awful either.

Sure, I'm just saying. It's just a bit funny how he is all over Kirby. Can't imagine Jeff being like that even though he and Ryan share similar characteristics when it comes to videogame perception.
Squeak Squad was preeeetty bad, though.

so any chance of them doing a QL of the littlebigplanet 2 Move DLC?

Havent played it yet but it seems like a interesting use of the controller and probably worth there time.

also it would be a good way for them to revisit LBP2 since the quick look for LBP2 mostly consisted of playing LBP1 levels in LBP2.

Are you supposed to see the premium vids if u dnt pay

I think so.

I don;t see a solid reason for them not appearing either. It gives people some small incentive to pay if they see something they cannot get.

Did Ryan completely ignore the Orders command in the Joker 2 quicklook?

Skipped ahead a few times, since not interested in the game and the Ryan/Patrick pair is boring.

EDIT: Meanwhile Drew/Dave have already cracked me up three times in the first 40 seconds lol. I want more of these guys, all the time.

Their videos have always been ridiculously low, with the game audio itself usually even lower. I don't know why, I even remember some people asking if they could boost the volume and getting an odd straightforward, "No."

Every time I finish one of their videos I have to turn my volume back down so my speakers don't explode the next time I watch anything else.

Is there something wrong with the volume on these quick looks, or is it just my PC? I have to turn the volume up to ridiculous levels to hear anything.

They're about the same levels as other game sites' video features save for GameSpot.

IGN
GameTrailers
GameSpot

The video's volume on Giantbomb used to be super low for a while last year but either I got used to it or they actually fixed it because I didn't notice anything in the last couple of months.

*looks at Bit Trip QL*

I like the idea of Bit Trip Quick on a handheld!

I might buy this!

*sees that it is not available in Europe*

I might import this!!

*remembers 3DS is region locked*

:/

*opens up Steam*

*dies in Bit Trip Runner*

Just so you know, Gaijin said on their Twitter account that the Wii and 3DS Bit Trip games are coming to Europe, they just don't know a date yet.

I doubt you'll read this and I bet it's already been mentioned but you don't need to jump onto the spring, Patrick! Just hold up when you're on top of the spring.

I might just get this for the 3DS though. Having it portable is great and I skipped Void, Fate, and Flux. Also I've made some animated fanart for the game before and I was always planning on making a concluding animation with all the games but only after I played them all. I should get to that.

In the Kirby Mass Attack Quick Look, Klepek talks some mad shit about Chameleon Twist.

That Quick Look made me seek out the demo, which cemented my purchase. It seems more like a sidescrolling Pikmin than an actual Kirby game, but that's pretty cool. For a dead system, DS has some rad stuff coming out.
