Yeah with the exception of the pistol its like theres no weapon where you feel you're about to get pwned no matter what you do. They all put up a fight.

yeah, I was just playing king of the hill and I launched a series of missles at the reds, it was awesome.
 
lots of halo fanboys feeling hurts. im not trolling, i dont the the games visuals are good. game however, is great. deal with it guys, not everyone is gonna agree with yas
 
Ah shit. Theres a glitch going on with my download menu. It doesn't show the progress but if I cancel and re-download it show an updated percent. Please don't screw up. :(

I'm taking a break just to catch my breath. This beta is awesome, I just wish I had a HDTV to enjoy it fully and which is why I can't really voice a good opinion on the graphics, but everything does look nice..especially the lighting. I'm digging all of the new weapons. For me, the only weapon I haven't tried yet is the SMG, it's hard to go near that thing lol. I love tweaked carbine, brute spikers rock, needler is fun but only killed 1 person so far but that's only b/c I hardly run across it. The sniper rifle I have trouble with and btw people need to check out Ramirez vids to see how to wield it like a pro, great vid man. The maps are great. Valhalla is my only complaint in that if you spawn out in the middle, having only the AR is sorta tough on you (well, atleast me). Snowbound is fantastic. I love the inside/outside aspect of the whole map, which is something I also love about High Ground. High Ground CTF is uberfun. I can't wait to play with some GAF peoples and get some fun parties going. Someone sent a party invite to me at some point, which was the point I was getting the "Game Over Shadowrun" screen, so I couldn't join your party and lost the name who invited me. So whoever you are, I'm sorry about that. :/

Edit: Oh yeah, one thing I do miss is the "Gained/Loss the Lead" voice over. Can we bring that back for the final game plz? I always lose track of wtf is going on. :(

Its not a matter of agreeing its a matter of fact. The visuals are good, you probably just don't like the art style, or have an SDTV.

Go to the title screen and press start....when your profile comes up, press the D-pad left/right and your controller settings should come up.
 
Am surprised I managed to get a few kills with the needler, I really wish I could play on a bigger screen.

19" widescreen just ernt enuth.

In the pre-game, I caught a bug where it says "waiting for match to start," I can see all the players but the map information and everything else is blank. Last time it happened I sat in the lobby for like, 2 minutes and nothing changed.

So I jumped back to dashboard and called it a night.
 
This took me about 4 and a half hours to download but it was well worth it. After getting the hang of things, it was the most fun I've had on XBL since Halo 2.
 
this game is fun fun fun in the sun.

Can't wait for the final release though when I can choose gametypes.
There's nothing worse then wading through matches of team oddball to get to the good stuff.

I badly want to play CTF on Valhalla.

What sensitivity are you guys using... Using 5 so far. Any faster and I can't aim at all (not that I can aim with 5 either) but I still feel I turn so damn slow :/

wow neither. i have a hdtv and i love the art style. i just dont like it. read any thread for reference. why is it so hard for people to understand different peoples opinions? like m0dus, wtf was that dude? YOUR OUT OF YOUR ****ING MIND IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH THE MAJORITY.

He got devastated first by Forza's 2 then by Halo's 3 graphics, give him a break man! He is working overtime already!
 
I forgot how much I enjoy playing Halo online. So much fun. The controls feel very good. I love using the bumper to reload and pick up weapons. It feels more natural.
