Oh, it better be WMV (as I'm sure it will). I have to stream this to my 360.

Or just give me MP4 and I'll watch it on my PS3 (lolz).

wow I can hear what people are saying about the Sound just from stream video, there is some real bite to the weapons this time around.

Add rumble to it and when a grenade explodes near you you're screen shakes too. Makes for a very visceral feeling.

Menus are so pretty and sleek. All of it feels very professional, including the pictures (love the controller in the settings menu)
 
I noticed how the radar and everything on the HUD flattens out once you get on the mongoose. Those small details are ****ing awesome.
 
Did anyone receive an invitation unexpectedly? I had assumed the friends and family invites were for close friends of Bungie employees and a select few members on the bungie boards. I received an invite, and im not active at all on any type of fourm. I'm just kinda the one who reads around and makes replies if necessary, although I did play alot of halo 2 back before it got too crazy with kids. So maybe thats why?
Not complaining though It was a great surprise (downloading as i type) but was just curious if anyone else got an invite and was surprised.

Some were randomly chosen from b.net users.
 
Mancannon + warthog/mongoose = awesome.

Was getting the mongoose on the mancannon and some dude hops on the back and together we mancannon into the air, almost did a barrel rol, guy was like "wow".

Same deal with the warthog, got on the mancannon but did a pirouette with the warthog and then we drove off and the guy in the back killed some dudes with the machine gun. I love the space in Valhalla!

The random member invites were done on a certain criteria... If you met that criteria your name was throw into a deal that randomly picked folks to be choosen. The Bungie.net admin said their is somewhere around 1 million active users on Bungie.net and that only 30,000 met the requirements. So out of the 30,000 some were randomly selected. If you got a PM on Bungie.net you met the criteria, which wasnt based on post count or having been a member for years on end.

Me! When I saw people mentioning "check your PMs", I went to B.net for the hell of it, logged in and went "WTF?!" Then I made a sound that make dogs howl and called my wife to have her start the download. 2 more hours...2 more hours...

I did. I expressed my sadness earlier in the thread about others playing the beta. Stinkles asks if I was in F&F, I say no, Stinkles says I need to check my pm...I check it and there's a code for downloading the beta. I'm like WTF OMG WTF (cause I didn't expect this at all)
