Yes. That would be the Missle Pod. Fires many missles that start out slow, then detect their target and swarm in. Takes two or three to destroy a Warthog.

Running around with the turret owns. Seriously, this game has some of the best animation EVER.

I'm going to update the OP with some of the videos and screens now.

Thanks for the answer. :D

I was just customizing my chief and I'm looking at him and sad Marty music starts to play and I get this sudden urge to play Halo 3 campaign :(

Tiano nice game on Snowbound
For the love of god get a new mic :)
it's Tieno (pronounced Teeno or Tiino) :D . I think it's my pad, cause I bought a new mic and that doesn't work either. Love the big shields on snowbound!

Unrealistic expectations. It looks as good as any multiplayer game for the 360 when taking into account scale.

I'm a little bummed. I bought an xbox at launch, have been a XBL subscriber since launch, and owned a 360 since launch, but I don't get to play the beta. /sobstory All you bastards and your betas, you could post a few more impressions you know.:)

I don't know who can watch Blim's video and not be impressed or call it Halo 2.5.

just watched it.
Ur comment is imho as much fanboy as the "looks crap"
It looks ok, we may just had higher expectation (especially from this brand) but overall looks really fun and thats the most important

Watch out for max, he is the thought police when it comes to Halo around here.

and you guys are the trolls when it comes to criticizing a beta of a videogame. but whatever, i wont argue with you anymore. i honestly dont care.

Oh give me a ****ing break. :lol

On a positive note, it does look very solid. As in it doesn't seem sketchy, jittery or glitchy. And for multiplayer, that's real good news.

It looks good enough to not warrent complaints from me. :)

How about you give us a break. Do you have to post on every page of this thread how underwhelming the game is to you? I'm surprised you have pulled the sterile card yet.

I thought you had me ignored?!:lol I told you people waste their time when ignoring people, they never stick with it. And the whole troll thing is a weak argument. People have different opinions, get over it. But the game looks killer fun, and those txb pics do look nice, but people need to realize some people had/have higher expectations for THE FLAGSHIP TITLE, so yeah it will recieve extra scrutiny. In the end it doesn't matter, this game will sell buttloads.

I hate to say it but it's minimal upgrades like this and Forza that makes Wii proponents have a good argument.

There's very little need for this game to be on the Xbox360 the way it looks and plays. It would of been fine on the Xbox (minus the HD resolution).

And the beta argument doesn't hold up, games rarely ever change radically from beta to final release.

Hey man, the dude asked and I answered. You have a great argument there to be sure, but you may want to save it for someone it actually applies to. If anything, I've approached Halo 3 with silk gloves all along, respecting the alpha WIP status and all that. But if someone is going to tell others to GTFO for criticizing beta screens and footage, and another dude is going to ask how people can possibly be disappointed, then I don't see any problem in responding to that.

It's just really nothing spectacular. Yeah, the rock textures with the normal map looks better.

I love playing Halo, and I'll love playing this, but there's nothing about this game except minor cosmetic upgrades that couldn't of been done on the Xbox 1.

This guy is hilarious! Please tell us another joke.

Hey look another joke! What dev do you work for? How do you know SOOOO much about these things!

Did no one notice Ghaleon's post? Any way, I think the textures and lighting look awesome in this shot, especially the bullet riddled wall to the right. I'd say the shots of High Ground look up to par compared to other games expected to release later this year(considering scale, etc).

Edit: Minimal upgrades to Forza, did you conclude that by watching the GT video? :lol I own Forza 1 and have played the Forza 2 demo and I can tell you its more than a "minimal upgrade."

man there are some bitter bitter tears from wii owners with nothing to play right now

No big deal because it's phenomenal right now.

As far as multiplayer goes, I'd have to agree. Nothing I've seen so far gameplay wise has "wowed" me and convinced me it's only possible on Xbox 360.

Campaign might be a different story though because of the large encounters Frankie has mentioned.

After seeing the huge body of water it makes me wish there was a map seperated by water and there were boats with weapons on them, that would own.

Higher texture? Better lighting/HDR? New Graphics Engine? Huge scale battles in campaign? (2-3x the size of Halo 2 campaign battles)
