The game looks gorgeous. The crazy thing is, this is the graphics in multiplayer. It should look significantly better in the single player campaign.
I hope this releases in September, as is rumored (don't the Mountain Dew Halo 3 ads run from July - September?)

I forgot how great a party system is until I just used it. So smooth to hop from game to game, it just works!
Also I think this is the first time I've seen a game being integrated into and using the 360 guide. It's great for sending video files or looking at people's the halo profile and videos.
It's a great idea that you can pull up your settings menu from almost anywhere and it behaves like a fancy 360 guide.

Because I'm probably not going to write anything about the event (loooong story), just two quick notes.
- I am so glad I pre-ordered a Legendary edition. The helmet is HUGE!
- When you pick up the Needler, it should say "Press the R trigger for Rape Time."
Halo 3 is sooooo gooooooooood.

Matchmaking has really matured. I remember when Halo 2 launched and people FREAKED OUT.

The one thing I was wondering (and maybe someone could answer that has more experience) is if grenades "went further" in Halo 2 or 1? I feel like the range isn't very long on Master Chief's throwing arm. I can't remember if it was longer in Halo 2. Also, I haven't tried "charging" the left trigger to see if that does anything.
I was in a firefight with someone and I basically need grenade support to win (because I'm bad), so I threw the grenade and it kinda fell short a bit.
