I might get that then. My controller's headset port doesn't work anymore, I can buy another controller just for a new headset port but it has the chance of breaking too.

Just be aware of the wireless headset problems. You'll probably get a lot of people telling you to reset your mic in the game.

From what i've sen in videos, I don't like the way the plasma grenade/pistol trail looks, Looks sorta weak and non-existant.

I've played close to a 100 games now and I've yet to encounter a douche, everyone even says GG after every match, I haven't encountered that in years! :lol

OT, but the last game I played online regularly was Trackmania Unlimited - really nice people and community there.

The sound effect is awesome. It's a sort of whistle that increases in frequency until it pops.

Ya I noticed that, it looks amazing! Just the trails and the grenade itself inflight looks sorta odd, and not nice and bright like halo 2.

Still, the beta seems pretty close to being the finished product. If you use that excuse for everything, you may end up being disappointed, or not, what do I know.

The instructions in the link are pretty straight forward. You recover your friends GT, DL the demo, and voila.

The back button brings up the player list so you can mute who you feel the need to.

Everything else is still the normal 360 feedback system. Player avoidance etc.

I don't see the point in trying to scam your way into the beta. It's two days away, and there's quite a backlog to play through before then anyways. For me, it's a perfect opportunity to get good at racing games before losing all the skills again when the beta begins.

I'm not doing the cheat because it's a) lame and b) simply not worth it.

As I posted elsewhere in this thread (somewhat revised):

Everyone who is getting into the Beta early is going to spend 60, 70 or 130 bucks in September for the full game, anyway. And most of them probably already had their copy of Crackdown ready and waiting to go. It's not like they were planning for this. I don't know how Bungie can really be mad about it. And even if they are, they aren't going to piss off paying customers for playing a Beta three days earlier than they were supposed to.

Besides, as Shane Kim said in the interview on Gamespot, they want as many people as possible to play this.
