It's actually a pretty fun game. Worth 60 dollars? No. 40? Sure, maybe. DEFINITELY not 60 though. That made me cry when it was announced.

In a similar situation, a friend of mine joked that MS/Bungie should've made the H3 Beta 20 gigs. Instant 120 HDD sales + 1million.

That was not Tartarus. That was just a Brute general as seen in the vidocs. If Tartarus is back then there better be a good reason because I didnt really like him as a charcater. Some backstory on him would make me apprecciatte him more

How many posts does the Oblivion thread have? We should be able to easily pass that. Almost at 5,000 posts and the beta hasn't even begun for most people.

I just watched it again and you're right. I was mistaken.
I do think that he'll be back though now that the focus is on the Brutes.

Why does the b.net home page countdown say 13 hours. Can you please just tell us when to expect it, because the first press release, second press release, and the countdown are saying three totally different times.

Here's what it says:

According to an anonymous source, we've been told Microsoft will be revealing the official release date of its highly anticipated Bungie-developed shooter soon. The company is expected to announce that Halo 3 will ship to North American consumers on September 25th of this year, with European Xbox 360 owners getting the game just one day later on September 26th.

That's just a couple days after the Tokyo Game Show goes down in Japan, a move which could be seen as an effort to downplay announcements from Microsoft's competitors.

I'm off to the Halo 3 Hollywood premiere event, kicking off within the hour, so keep your eyes peeled for news. Michael McWhertor

I am so amped up for this game it's incredible. The beta starts tommorrow, and then we find out that the game may be out in SEPTEMBER. Man, I love Bungie

Ahh I see. Rumors and speculation. That would be nice to get it in Sept. though.

Man, I've been pulling off some silly shit with the bubble shield, I've got a movie saved on Valhalla, doin my little bubble dance and sniping people, then quickly jumping back in :lol Also got my first double laser kill today, got that one saved too if the movies didn't get erased :D

Edit: I've restarted my system twice, and still can't play :(
