Yeah, be realistic. There are thousands of people who would kill to have an Xbox 360 or a copy of Crackdown, or even enough food. The start of your Halo 3 beta playing has been delayed a few hours. Tough shit.

But people took days off from work, man! THEY REARRANGED THEIR WHOLE LIVES, ALL FOR A $60 DEMO THAT DOESN'T WORK!!! $60 PLUS TAX, AND THE GAS THEY SPENT DRIVING TO AND FROM THE STORE!!!!!

Yeah it was 12am. I stayed up for that. Pre-loaded all the files already. Gotta' love steam. I know Bungie couldn't let us install and lock the beta til release for obivious reasons.

Dammit that blue MC pic looks so damn good.

ANYWAY, the point is, you people are acting like you're all so unfortunate. I can understand being upset, but in the scope of things it's not a huge deal. If the worst thing that ever happens to you is the Halo 3 beta gets delayed a bit, then I'd say you have a damn good life.

Yeah, I just took a 3 hour nap figuring that when I got up the beta would be up. So I pop in Crackdown............nothing! Thanks MS, I'm off to work now. :lol

Um, you're posting on a video game forum so don't act surprised and high and mighty that many people find playing Halo 3 an enjoyable activity off of work. That is if they COULD play it.

Yeah, but it's a beta. Not a real release. Some people are just the betting type I guess. It's also being distributed digitally, and I already know first hand from experience how that works out on day 1. Network overload

I know, going into a beta, all bets are off on things actually going smoothly.

Not what I meant, and you know it. The point is, your lives are not as miserable as you make them seem. You need to wait a few hours to play the Halo 3 beta. It's not exactly a sob story.

And btw, I ALMOST called in to work today too. I don't get why that's so unbelievable to some people. I used vacation time for 3 days for Halo 2's release. And I'll do it again for Halo 3's.

Hahah, yeah - I'm right there with you. I just haven't ever done it for a beta. For a newly released game that I love I end up taking the next day off if I'm heavily into it and I can afford to.

I'm sure MS is scrambling to get this fixed. They are probably anticipating all of the anger right now.

I just wish they would say something, anything, about it. All they said is they will keep us updated. I don't care if they say it will take them two more days, its just crazy they haven't given us any information.

Major Nelson apparantly saw it coming. I think hes working at Sony by now.
