Maybe they'll finally show us Jub Jub and reveal that it's simply an oversized kitchen sink and faucet. Best multiplayer map ever.urk said:I could see Bungie dropping a new trailer.
So no riding off into the sunset to "My Heart will go on", from Titanic?Stinkles said:There is no back seat on the Chopper, brokeback fans.

Serious Voc: A lot of the update depictions seem to suggest that it's a Forerunner structure (likely a series of platforms and/or rooms) inset into trees (much like the Ewok dwellings). The architecture of the map is said to be intertwining with trees. There was even a mentioning of birds, I believe, at one point.urk said:Jub Jub is a forest moon with ewoks dancin' and all that.
To bad the guy on his knees doesnt have the haze style vizor on... wouldn't even have to photoshop anything.siamesedreamer said:![]()
Someone needs to keep this pic in mind for the September sales thread. Perfect photoshop material!
I remember reading some fan speculation that it might be a remixed lockout, but I don't remember how they got to that conclusion... Here's to hoping!Mr Vociferous said:Serious Voc: A lot of the update depictions seem to suggest that it's a Forerunner structure (likely a series of platforms and/or rooms) inset into trees (much like the Ewok dwellings). I wonder if they ever were dropped since there were framerate concerns at the time with implementing them...

One thing that I liked but forgot to comment about from the IGN article was the unlocking the armor in Campaign - IGN wasn't sure, but that would be great if true - to have some armor online that you could only unlock by beating Legendary, or by finding a certain place...
I know I'll be rocking the stealth helmet as soon as I can for a while, and mixing and matching very often, like I did between Spartan and Elite...
And speaking of Elites... hmmm.
P.S.: I still haven't deleted the Beta yet either - :lol
The wallpapers 4000x??? too. Crazy big. Always. Must be ARG relatedTieno said:Xboxyde has resized those Bungie pictures to normal proportions. (WTF Bungie?! You so crazy!)

I know the halo2 collectors edit. was released there (i got that one and was region free).
Malek also explained that while the story line will remain the same, introducing human intelligence into the game will give it infinite replayability. "One time the best enemy character you face may be controlled by Habibul Ashraful from Bangladesh, who only has three fingers, and the next time it may be Li Ming, who farms gold in World of Warcraft."
Maybe it's the equipment they were using, or the crappy headphones I'm using at the moment, or a combination of the two--but I can hardly understand anything that's being said in that video.urk said:Lars Bakken interview:

Might have already been posted, but I think the stuff at the end about player traits is interesting.

Was any map or game mode vetoed enough to cause concern at Bungie? (cough, Snowbound)
O'Connor: Cough, no. Snowbound holds up very well as a medium sized map, and our stats right now would place it as a popular map - but the game types we often associated with it in the game type are ones that we've already made significant changes too. Stuff like King of the Hill has been improved dramatically.
Based on the data you've collected, will you be making significant changes to the final game?
O'Connor: Of course. A lot of them, networking code, UI and flow functionality and so on, will probably be invisible. But we will be tweaking weapons, game modes and spawn points for some time to come. The Beta will make the final product better. That's a fact.
