How I pick up uneducated Latino women who are 26 and don't know much english?
Quando vivía en Guadalajara me comía una ahogada casi cada día después del escuela. Me hace una falta, oof! No tiene nada que ver con lo naco. Pero la neta después de un par de chelas y unos corridos de Vicente se me sala la naca interior jajajaja
Look, about this America turning into a Hispanic country. I love Hispanic people, I'm Mexican myself, but when you saturate an area with Mexican-Americans it really just turns to shit. Gangs, violence, drugs. I know the majority of Hispanics are hard-working ambitious people, but there are also so many rotten apples that are just ruining it.
In Hong Kong, tijuana. Mexi-GAF knows what Im sayin...

That's not the point. Before Spain existed, all of the Iberian Kingdoms identified as Hispanics, since Hispania was the Roman name for the Iberian Peninsula. When The Kingdoms of Castile and Aragon merged, the Monarchs named the country España. That name has its origins in the name Hispania. But as far as I know, the Portuguese still refereed to themselves as Hispanics (I know that Luís de Camões referred to the Portuguese as such in his epic poem, Os Lusíadas). Then the Iberian Union happened. D. Philip I/II respected the interests of Portugal but his successors didn't and the Union split. From that point on the use of Hispanic to refer to Portuguese people diminished until it was no longer used.
What I mean by architecture is that the Spanish were pretty big on Baroque architecture during that time which made the Portuguese differentiate themselves by preferring the plain style architecture. That difference is pretty obvious if you compare the architecture of churches in Spanish vs Portuguese colonies.
Spain is a Spanish speaking country.Spanish people would probably be "white"
What is hispanic? is confusing though cause there are white, black and everything inbetween hispanics. Its pretty much people that come from spanish speaking countries.

No te olvides de tostadas con jaiva.
One of you earlier called women like Sofia Vergara and Michelle Rodriguez White Hispanics. Is that because they're half white or they have Spanish blood? I was also wondering if the Hispanic community consider Spaniards as white. I notice myself that they look differently from the people of Mexico and South America. Most of them look distinguishable from other Europeans like the English and Irish, but some of them look white to me. Are they technically considered Hispanic?

Soon...
Porque?I am of Mexican descent and I hate Mexican food.....also don't find Hispanic women attractive at all...
Enchiladas are the worst thing on earth....
*runs*
They look different from the sterotype that we have of people from Southern America, because that stereotype is based on a mix of Spanish and Indigenous people. That's why if you go to Spain people don't look like that at all. But ofcourse, there are many Mexicans etc that don't look like that at all because they don't have mixed blood, or not much mix.
I remember watching Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and in that movie you see a lot of actors playing supposedly the Spanish. I don't know where they got those actors but it seems like they grabed a bunch of people that fitted an a priori stereotype for some reason. You go to Spain and you don't see everyone looking like that at all. Then you look at movies and TV series about the Romans or Greeks and they all look like Northern Europeans, lol. So Holywood has a lot to blame for the US perception of what Southern Europeans look like. Thruth is, you won't be abble to distinguish a Portuguese, a Spanish, an Italian, a Greek, a Romanian, etc from each other that easily. Southern Europe is too much of a melting pot. Southern America is different, lots of mixing with indigenous people.

It's sad that I look at that and I am reminded to my trips to the Fiesta Texas theme park.
I don't care if it's my heritage, I'm never going to Mexico, so that theme park and my grandma's house is as close as I get.
I don't consider Spanish people to be Hispanic. Basically only American countries are Hispanic/Latin.
Spanish people are white.
I shouldn't have to link to the same Wikipedia article twice in the same page, but whatever: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HispanicOne of you earlier called women like Sofia Vergara and Michelle Rodriguez White Hispanics. It's too bad that doesn't matter. Spaniards are Hispanic. They are the one of the original Hispanics for christs sake.I don't consider Spanish people to be Hispanic. Basically only American countries are Hispanic/Latin.

Spanish people are white.
Can I ask why?
I mean I know as the American born generations increase (aka I'm first born American of Mexican descent, my children will be 2nd, etc) the interest in heritage decreases but why will you never go to Mexico?

Being Hispanic or not has nothing to do with race. Everywhere but in the U.S. Spaniards should be considered Hispanic. The majority of Spaniards would fall under "white" or "caucasian", yes. That does not of course mean that all Spaniards would.

self hating mexican probably.Porque?![]()
So you're basically saying they're white?
Hispano-America GAF, you know when you apply for financial aid or whatever they ask you your ethnicity and then your race. I always choose Mexican-American for ethnicity but I never know what to choose for race.
What do you want to know?I never knew my biological father or anyone from his side of the family (some guy with the surname Carillo, he bailed before I was born) so I'm curious about Hispanic culture and life, anything that might help explain more about that other side.
The only two things I know are my first serious girlfriend was a Latinaand I tan better than anyone else on the white side of my family. Hispanic-GAF, help me understand the other side of my genetics!and I definitely have a pro bias por latina girls, especially physically

Start watching El Chavo del Ocho and any movie with Cantinflas.
Well if he doesn't know much about his Hispanic side then I doubt he knows Spanish so this advice is useless.
