Agreed on Floria. If it was named "Floweria", the pronounciation would be something like "フラワーリア/フラヴェーリア" (Furawâria/Furevêria) rather then "フローリア" (Furôria). "Gracia" seems to be the most logical for "グレイシア", since "glacier" would be "グレイシャー" when written in katakana. As "ユナイティア", uh...not really sure about that one.Datschge said:Odd romanizations to the Tales names, they could as well be "Floria", "Glacier" and "Uniteair" with that katakana...

Drkirby said::lol Now thats rich, While I doubt Nintendo will ever use them, I find it funny the tradmarked every letter after DS.
Well, with the exception of E (DSE?), L (DSL), and P (DSP?)
Are any of those new? Never heard of Phuten...and no idea what the others are.neo2046 said:Nintendo

No, those are the 3 that Nintendo couldn't get. DSL is, well, most likely public Domain (DSL, internet)Moor-Angol said:Uhm... DSL already exists, DSE( Enhanced) will be next DS revision, and DSP...........
DS + PSP confirmed !!!!!!!!

The next DS can't be DSE since Nintendo wasn't able to get the patent.
I reckon out of the three new trademarks, this will be the one BanNam goes with. Just a feeling - could be way off base.neo2046 said:Bandai Namco

What is it with Namco and putting the "ia" at the end of each word????Rpgmonkey said:Hmm, this is new.
That makes Floria, Startear, Blessia, Tales of Floweria, Gracia, and Unitia in the past few months. More than their usual number.
Taking a cue from Ubisoft obviously.SilverLunar said:What is it with Namco and putting the "ia" at the end of each word????
Floria?? why not just "Flora"?
Gracia?? why not "Grace"?
Unitia?? why not "Unity"?
Blessia?? why not "Bless"?
Stormbringer said:Looks like Namco just registred the "Tales of Graces" trademark in Europe, which, as pointed out on Siliconera, could mean that that previously mentioned "Tales of Gracia" trademark could very well be the actual japanese name of an upcoming Tales game - like the Wii one, "Tales of Graces" being supposedly the international name.

duckroll said:There's definitely more than one Tales game coming out this year. Come on guys, this is Tales we're talking about here. If the Wii Tales is the only title that's coming out for the rest of this year, then it'll be the first time it happens in like half a decade. When they have their Tales Festival crap later this year, they'll probably announce the rest of the lineup for late '09 and early 2010. I'm expecting a re-release/director's cut/port for Vesperia as well as another PSP game for the end of the year at least.
I did so as well. It fits in line with all the other names so we're probably correct.vareon said:I actually read スターティア as "Startia" since it had no dash (-) thingy at the end of the word.
In case there was any doubt, I'm not the one who came up with the romanized versions of the Tales of trademarks. These romanized names are all straight from the trademark registration entries, so these are very much official :Aurora said:I did so as well. Also, it's Floria, not Floweria, and they are not two separate games.
I'd be leaning towards that as well, DQ Swords 2 especially. For reference, the first game's subtitle :Aeana said:光と闇の姫君と世界征服の塔 almost sounds like a Dragon Quest subtitle. DQ10? DQS 2?
That'd be "Gettenka". Sorry, mistake on my part.speedpop said:歴史大戦＼ゲッテンカ
