I guess I'm smarting from getting suckered into appreciating the police and frowning upon Whites.
I was not the spoil-sport that "fixed" this title, just FYI. Don't blame me. I love bait-and-switch thread titles.
Well duh, you would have added an endorsement if it was you changing it.
The Civil War being the stupidest event in human history, aka bait for more Marvel SHITWhat was the original title?

It was funny in Captain America 2 when Project Insight created an entire database of possible metahumans in like 5 minutes.Iron Man was right but they made him evil because Cap can't be wrong, and because forcing superheroes to register would change the status quo too much. You don't just get to prance around and be above the law because you made a ray gun in your garage or whatever.

lol Registration Act.

Yeah that's a better way of putting it.They uploaded it in minutes, shield was monitoring them for decades.
Maybe he was one of the most talented surgeons?i didn't really get this. SHIELD has a ton of intel, but it's not like they're fucking omnipotent. The fuck would they be after Strange for? He's a surgeon.
Probably about all the goats he could be licking. The fuck were you thinking Millar?
The irony of the "shooting Hulk into space" thing is that if Tony had just asked Banner to leave the planet, Banner would have done it in a heartbeat. It's not like he had a lot holding him there at the time and he'd literally just spent around three months trying to kill himself.
And then, even if Planet Hulk had still happened, he wouldn't have blamed the Illuminati for it and World War Hulk wouldn't have happened.
The fuck were you thinking Marvel/Millar?

That's the point though. Some of the people PI targeted aren't even suspects.
Civil War seemed bad at the time, then came Secret Invasion, Seige, Fear Itself, and Avengers vs X-Men
id read all of those over civil war. even fear itself. its marvels identity crisis(and before slay comes in, not that one)

Yerp. Or they coulda just asked Victor to fix the problem, which he did by giving hulk and banner exactly what they thought they wanted (also adding gamma neurosurgeon to the list of victor skils, but hey, he already was a transdimensional ob gyn). Woulda worked even better if hulk didn't go all "my precious" and ninja'd Banner.
Whats wrong with this?![]()
The dumbest part of it all was that Bishop was pro-registration. You know, Bishop; the guy who came from a future where mutant registration devolved into concentration camps and mutant genocide.
It seemed like a good idea at first, but as it went on it was pretty clear they had no idea how to end it.
Unmasking Spider-Man was the dumbest thing possible, and they had to go even dumber (dumbception) to fix it.
I don't know what happened and at what point this all happened but I just don't understand Marvel Comics these days.
I used to read Marvel comics back in the 90's and love them, it's what got me into comics. I thought Age of Apocalypse was the coolest thing ever.
But upon going back into comics I can only read DC Comics these days because the continuation makes more sense to me, I don't get why it seems like Marvel comics series keep going back to number 1 and just trying to figure things out seems crazy.

That's funny because only one of those companies have any sort of continuation from the 90s and it ain't DC.
Well shortly after that Bishop went crazy and tried to kill a baby. So that might have been the first sign.
Well the continuity might not be the same but DC's EIC is the Marvel EIC from the 90s.
Yeah, but I don't think that's to say it's led to any sort of resemblance between 90s Marvel and current DC.
Millar is extreme as fuck. You already know this brother.
What is EIC? And why does Marvel Comics end and go back to #1 all the time?
Hope?
Editor in Chief. The guy that ran Marvel in the 90s now runs DC essentially.
They go back to #1 because #1 issues sell.

Every single one of the X-Men (except Cable and Bishop) being neutral was pretty dumb too, considering the entire super hero registration plot was a rehash of the mutant registration plot in the 80s. You'd think they would have something to say about that.
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH I HAD SOME OF THESE.
Peter said like, bling or something and I think the page itself cringed.
