Akerfeldt's scream at the end of BRI is fucking bone chilling.
Yeah, the ending really sticks with ya.
Can he do that live, do they still perform that song? Don't think it's something you can whip out every day

I wonder if a castlevania song per album will be a continuing DragonForce gimmick.
something something konami...
Ha, just saw the cover of the new Ulver, and I guess I have to buy it based on that alone, seeing that I had this as desktop for the last 6 years:
Progressive thrash spotlight
Sieges Even - Life Cycle
not only of the best products of the German prog thrash scene, Sieges Even debut album is still one of the ten best offerings in the subgenre period. For fans of Toxik, Wolf Spider, Heathen, German prog, ect..
I approve this.
I need some Angel Witch like stuff. Also why isn't half their discog on Spotify.
Cloven Hoof - Laying Down The Law
Vardis - The Lion's Share
Triarchy - Sweet Alcohol
Tygers of Pan Tang - Don't Stop By
Mythra - The Age Of Machine
No Quarter - Racing for Home
Legend - Out of Luck
Bashful Alley - Running Blind
Buffalo - Battle Torn Heroes
Chateaux - The Dawn Surrendered
Crucifixion - The Fox
Jesus christ, the double bass sounds like programmed Russian slamNew Suffocation song is out and it sounds awesome!
They'll never match their 90's material but as far as the post-reformation albums go I think Blood Oath fucking rules and this song sounds like something off Blood Oath only faster. I'm excited!
Now we just need to hear some of the new Dying Fetus!

It is, lol. It's more disbelief, like the fills/blasts at the beginning are just like.....they almost don't sound good because of how double bass spammy they are. Song is unremarkable as a whole by Suffocation standards but I do dig itComing from you I'll assume that's a compliment.

Not sure what the general consensus is on it but I really, really dig the self-titled record. Guitar tone is just so good, Frank still kills on vocals, drums are lethalFor me Suffocation are the musical equivalent of Stephen King in that I'm so blinded by my own fanboyism I can't tell what's good or bad anymore, I'll just consume it all regardless.

Haven't really cared for anything they've done since. Especially on the last two albums when they've gone for a weird squeaky clean tone that isn't really representative of the band live (or previous albums)
The new Ulver is great!
"Poor little sister, I hope you'll understand. The babe in the woods will be taken by a wolf."
Been on a Sabaton binge lately. Their so fun!
Thanks whoever recommended me Slugdge months ago, it rips
Even if it wasn't me, I assume all responsibility for this because Slugdge is awesome!
If they come near you I HIGHLY recommend that you see them live. Youll have a blast.
I forgot it even came out! School, bleh.
I have a PS4 and I'm interested in some cool original IP, so I'll check it out.
Turns out it was Saften. But thank you too! I made a spotify list from tips I got then.
Listening to Shape of Despair - Monotony Fields now based off those recommendations. It's... incredible
Mutoid Man is my new Mastodon in terms of excitement for any new stuff they release.
NEW SONG (in this thread maybe old by now?) and new album in summer.

Metal/Punk/Rock done RIGHT! Their production rules, I wonder if they went for Kurt Ballou again.
I double this motion.
It's got an amazing sci fi story and really fun gameplay.
Lich King's new album is great
