the most infuriating taunts in multiplayer

I know everyone got so pissed off about 'gg ez' in overwatch that it was filtered to a randomly generated taunt message - but the filter does nothing, since people do it anyone and others STILL get mad because they know they typed 'gg ez' to get the filter in the first place so the effect is still there.

what are the other 'instant rage' taunts that come to mind? before gg ez it was 'gg no re'.

also, teabagging has been around since you could crouch in multiplayer games but it still gets people mad as shit.

I had a Tracer on the PS4 version kill me, place a spray, tea bag then emote.

Didn't think anything of it, until it made up most of the Play of the Game footage at the end of the match.

I don't get mad at multiplayer games, but that got me pretty good.

For the longest time I didn't realise people were tea bagging me once they splatted me in Splatoon. I just thought they were trying to dodge shots or something.

Picking Dan in Street Fighter is pretty much a taunt in itself ..

My friend used to pick Dan and if he won "oh I beat you with Dan !" if he lost "But I'm playing Dan!" ...ugh..

Tea bagging is still the one on top really. Destiny Trials is crazy with it. It only makes me play even better when somebody does it right at the start of the first round. Wich makes no sense really.

Getting a "Well Played" in Hearthstone long before the final move of the game.

this is a good point, actually - in OW, people saying 'gg' when theres like four minutes left in the match get others angry too. I think that goes for most multiplayer team games that work like that.

That even Dan exclusive tho, that's just homeboys who pick low tier characters every. time.

Getting taunted with the personal action in SF4 online almost instantly triggered me every time. For a game I wasn't any good at, I took it way too seriously/personally

playing bf1...get sniped over..and over ...and over from a dick on a losing team who is sitting behind a tree at his spawn base....after every kill the bob up and down......yep its now my mission to sneak up on you and hit you in the head with a a hatchet

I don't know if it's infuriating but in Battlefront I love when people think they're about to kill me but I kill them first and then laugh at them.

I have to disagree, the filter is amazing. I even started writing "gg ez" on purpose because I love seeing what filtered message comes out. They are pretty darn funny.

Something about the squid "teabagging" taunts in Splatoon pisses me off like no other.
Whenever I see a random teammate do it I shoot them.

Yeah, true. The point is, people are using it anyway because once you've played this game enough, you've seen all of the canned filters for gg ez and you are still well aware they typed 'gg ez' so they still managed to convey that message to you regardless.

Honestly, I don't mind that much but I've seen plenty of people still get mad about it.

?

I actually always have to laugh at the offensive "?" in dota. Funniest shit ever. Probably because the association is generally someone doing something so mindblowingly weird that it only causes bewilderment from the opposition.

And that's why the filter is totally counter-productive. You might be genuinely doing it to see the funny messages, but if you're on the winning team and you're doing it, everyone is going to assume you're just another gloating jerk.

Never gets old. Slow, fast it doesn't matter.

The shhh finisher on FIFA is a nightmare at times when they score in the final minutes to take the lead.

Dark Souls 3
Do some invasion for bants
Run into gank squad
They wreck your shit
All 3 start spamming applause
;_;

I also start spamming it when beating invaders. Best and worst gesture.

"gg ez" "ez" or the portuguese variant "izi" on Dota 2

If my team and I played like shit I don't think much of it. What gets me is when they type it after they clearly had a really hard time winning. That makes me reeeeally mad

At least some people are dumb enough to type it 20 minutes into the match. Destroying someone after a "gg ez" is easily one of the best feelings Dota 2 has ever given me

gg

Blizzard already stopped "GG EZ" but I wish the above in general would be filtered because the majority of players are going to mean it as "we won :)"
Also in Smash: Sonic beating players to a dangerous item and doing that taunt.

Dark Souls 3 point down without contest. No idea how it hasn't been mentioned already.

Get R1 spammed by some ganking scrubs with their dark swords and then they all point down.
