the most infuriating taunts in multiplayer

It's infuriating when someone on your team in Battleborn hits taunt in the middle of a team fight then dies, or fails to clear the wave / capture the point.

In Street Fighter 3 they give you the option to turn post-round movement off online just to stop people taunting after the rounds. It's especially annoying when people taunt after bodying you, since it's adding insult to injury. Only taunt if your opponent deserves it, and conversely don't taunt unless you're going to win. If you taunt in the first round you'll look like a dumbass if they end up winning the match.

SF3 is a weird one because SF3 taunts are modifiers, like Q's health increase. I've seen crowds get legit rustled because they didn't realise this was the case.

However, taunting in Fighting games IS a good way of getting someone woken up, even if they didn't realise they needed to.

Does this really piss you guys off? I usually laugh when someone does a taunt (teabags especially). The things that piss me off are HOW they win, usually when it's a loaded team of all stars who decided to pubstomp. CoD, Dark Souls, etc. I usually end up doing something like hiding in the level and trying to fuck up their gank by partnering up or doing so killstreak ending camping.

I think the casual "Hi" from your killer after dying Overwatch is the most infuriating taunt. Bagging is bad, but usually it stems from annoying the hell out of someone on the enemy team. I've only been waved at from beyond the grave when I totally whiffed a fight.

"Well, what is it?" Gesture in Dark Souls. Slightly raises my blood pressure no matter how many times I see it.

Yup. Taunts don't usually affect me, but this one here? Fuck you.

Yeah. I meant it more in the sense of taunting to troll rather than taunting with the intention of using the buffs. To be honest, the only time I taunt like that is when I think I can get a taunt kill and the person deserves it. I main Elena and her taunt is one of the only taunts in the game that hits low and it comes out really fast so it has priority over almost anything. So it catches people off guard. Plus, it hits twice (does two damage instead of one) so there's a higher chance of it killing them when their health bar is empty.

Even with the buffs I think that taunting in SF3 can still come off as mean-spirited unless you're playing as the characters that really benefit from their taunts (Q, Oro, Chun-Li etc).

"gg ez" "ez" or the portuguese variant "izi" on Dota 2

If my team and I played like shit I don't think much of it. What gets me is when they type it after they clearly had a really hard time winning. That makes me reeeeally mad

At least some people are dumb enough to type it 20 minutes into the match. Destroying someone after a "gg ez" is easily one of the best feelings Dota 2 has ever given me

If it gets you mad, then the taunt is doing its intended effect

I have always found taunts to be in good humor and just laugh and nod my head acknowledgment. The only thing that really annoys me in games is when I come across hard as nails sections in single player that I die to over and over.

The worst is when people insist on making you watch the replay from every angle. Dick move.

I play NHL but someone being outshot, outposessioned the whole game while their goalie stands on his head and saves everything..
They score a last minute goal from the blue line with a weak wrister and make you watch the whole replay.

It's times like these I wish I had the disc version so I could just snap it in half.

Never gets old. Slow, fast it doesn't matter. .
This used to get me so good. Also UC4 taunts all have the most accurate representation of a shit eating douchebag grin i've ever seen on an in-game character.

Gears of War DBNO violations. ;) Ive known people that never wanted to play again after a good rubbing. Lol.
Those executions are brutal, the long pistol bashing especially.
Gg ez doesnt effect anything in-game, whereas a pistol execution is a forced 10 second hiatus to watch your face get bashed. It was fun at first but years later its not so much.

My thoughts exactly; Gears is annoying as time prevented playing, who cares about teabaggin or smash taunts? Have your fun.

Admittedly mental pain has never phased me much so its something i dont understand well. That said its a game try to relax and move forward.

I love a good teabag back and forth. Then it's all about who gets the last laugh.

In console shooters It's very easy to bait people with a teabag.

Do it. They get angry and try and hunt you down in a furious state they obviously fail to get revenge and just the idea that a second teabag may be on their way is enough for them to disconnect.

A teabag gives you more energy and focus than an energy drink.

Rocket League's "What a Save" always got me. Then I disabled the chat entirely and all of my worries disappeared. I also improved a lot, cause the toxicity just distracted me.

Always hated TF2 taunts as well. ALL of them.

And of course teabaggers or gg ez-ers. Specially in Overwatch. A friend of mine caught this teabagger when we were playing Mei's Snowball Offensive and gave them a taste of their own medicine. Sooooo satisfying. Funny how he got POTG for it too, so all of them saw it.

sorry guys, but I loveeeeee taunts like "What a save!" and "Sorry" in Hearthstone.

I dont type "watt a save" when a stranger misses a save, usually to myself and friends, or if I know I'm playing with chill people. I also always compliment.

But I love Hearthstone for it.

I always end with a "Well Played" even when I lose. All in good fun, I never get upset when people do it to me, so I dont see the big deal.

Has anyone mentioned Mei players who freeze you, say 'Hello!' and then headshot you? That's infuriating and a bit terrifying.
That look on her face...

*shudders*...

I have a couple. I usually drop a Too Easy after the end of league matches. Never fails to get a response. If I get the final kill in Rainbow I'll teabag walk to their body. I used the wine class emote in Uncharted.

I love to start dancing my way into the endzone on Madden Football.... you can dance as early as you want to...so for maybe 20 yards without being tackled.

you can also chain multiple celebrations together on you way to the endzone.

I get angry when the worst player on your team in Rocket League starts insulting the team or trying to become a coach. We could be winning right now if you spent more time playing than typing.
