Geez. Didn't the DLC they added to fix ME3 correct a lot of mistakes? I know people were angry about the ending, but that's about all I know.

Yeah somehow these people fail to understand that minmaxing systems works orthogonal to role-playing, and caters to opposite player types. I reckon Fallout 4 failing was too late for their own game design, but really DA:I should've taught them that lesson. I guess with dumb fanboys I mean reviewers giving them all those GOTYs it's hard to self reflect.

They did try fix it with DLC, but even then game has remained as very dividing. ME3 is to ME trilogy what TW3 often seems to be to Witcher trilogy, you either love it or hate it.

ME3 is a masterpiece soured by the last 5 minutes but the dlc ending did help a lot.
 
I will go on record now that I will never moan about the artwork or name of a game.

It's not like I buy it and go 'Gameplay 9/10, soundtrack 9/10, story 9/10, artwork 3/10, name 3/10'

Overall it's a 6.5/10
 
Announced on twitter that the voice actors for both Ryders are Fryda Wolff and Tom Taylorson? Probably their first big gig. Best of luck with their performances!

I buy all mine digital anyway so artwork to me is the little square on the PS4 dahboard thatI see for 2 seconds.

Why would they take a photo with a potato instead of using the screenshot feature on the Xbox?
 
ME3 is a really good game.

But people are so focused on the ending that can't seem to have fun on all the other stuff on the game.

Also, Citadel DLC is so awesome. The perfect sendoff for all your alien friends.
 
ME3's ending is honestly fine after you take the DLCs into consideration as long as you choose the superior canon choice of Blue.

There was a separate unconfirmed leak on the BSN that matched things other insiders have known about the game that gave us a few more details:

1. Synthetic squad member
2. Seamless transition to planet reconfirmed
3. Party interacting with underdeveloped civs on planets, a la Star Trek.

So yeah, there should be plenty of dialogue/NPC interaction. Not necessarily on every planet nor should there be: hoping for a good mix of uncharted world exploration and settled world dynamics.

In my opinion, the DLC and EC (extended cut DLC) added so much to fill out the experience of ME3, it's crazy improved.

Leviathan and Citadel are mandatory for plot strengthening and closure, whilst EC is much better than the vanilla ending.

It's a great ending IMO, especially if you *believe.

I never got to play the citadel dlc. Hopefully it becomes BC so I can play it before Andromeda.

I still loved me3 though, I'm one of the few who didn't hate the ending all that much.

Ditto. I know it does a lot of stuff wrong, but the stuff it gets right it does so unbelievably well. Mechanically, it's easily the most polished, and Tuchanka/Raioch are two of the strongest stories I've played through in a videogame. And good god, the Citadel DLC is just the most perfect sendoff I could ever imagine. Plus it was crazy content rich.
 
BioWare has always been great about discovering new talent and helping to provide exposure for rising talent. It's good to see that tradition continue.

I normally don't say this, but I think to truly enjoy ME3 properly, you have to have all the DLC +EC, which is a shame: because if it released like that in the initial version, the storm would have been averted one would think.
 
No matter how stupid the ending of me 3 was, the mass effect franchise is something the game industry should be proud of. All the games are amazing in their own right. With that said, i can't wait to see what this new mass effect is about. Super hyped

It wouldn't've been averted, but it would've been calmer.

Been waiting for this for much too long.


Hoping for a remaster and not just XBO BC. The DLC showing up in the store doesn't give me much hope though.
