well it's a tight track, most of the quick dowhill guys are pretty big fellas, so those that were fastest in downhill are not automatically favorite for a medal

Svindal obviously messed up by missing a gate, but he was slower than Miller already so he could salvage silver or bronze at best by taking it somewhat slower

Miller really deserved it imho =]

Well, let's make things a bit more clear. Canada is not breaking any rules. They're just not being as generous in this instance (skeleton/luge track) as some would like. Likely because the track is new and even Canadians hadn't had a great deal of experience with it.
