It's Always Sunny is on another level altogether. The way that show is going right now... it could rise up to classic status fast. You could say it already has

Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan have the advantage of making certain relatively low key lines hilarious just because of their delivery.
Always Sunny is just so far beyond everything else on television right now.
although FWIW, you guys have convinced me to grab at least the first season sight unseen for Always Sunny... will start on it this weekend.

Jenna in black face was fucking amazing and Tracey in the clown makeup and the monster claw was also brilliant.
Sunny did have the 80s music in full effect last week though, and I think it was one of the best episodes that show's ever had.

Yep, this is how i've always felt about 30 Rock. It's a good show that has some great episodes and a lot of awesome moments sprinkled in some of its weaker offerings. It's a bit of a mixed bag, but always remains quite watchable.Darunia said:I think 30 Rock's great, but not that consistent. NBCs much-lauded 30 Rock seems to have finally connected with its audience. The show, featuring special guest Oprah Winfrey last night, maintained 95 percent of last weeks solid debut audience, its second-best rating ever.
Rock averaged a 3.9 adults 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen overnights, down just 5 percent from last weeks 4.1 for its premiere.
The show finished third in its competitive 9:30 p.m. timeslot, behind ABCs Greys Anatomy and CBSs CSI, though it bettered the latter among 18-34s, finishing second in the slot with a 4.6 rating.
Winfrey, playing herself, no doubt helped, and her guest spot was promoted during NBCs highly rated Saturday Night Live special on Monday. But Rock also seems to have benefited from star and creator Tina Feys much-buzzed-about Sarah Palin impression on SNL, which brought lots of attention to Rock and got a huge amount of play online.
Rock maintained an impressive 93 percent of its Office lead-in.

Is it worth going back to season 1 and 2?
borghe said:best episode of the series. the first bit of TV in YEARS that had my side hurting from laughing so hard. the scene stealer once again was tracy and his kids.. I had to pause the DVR because I couldn't stop laughing during both the scene when they were just staring at him (Where do you think you're going?) and where his kid starts beating him with the lamp.
Love may be in the air for Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) on the NBC comedy "30 Rock," so which star has the show tapped as the man to "Rock" Tina's world?
Jon Hamm, of AMC's drama "Mad Men," will be guest-starring as Tina's new love interest, the Associated Press says.
The question remains will Hamm continue to appear on the show.
"I just finished a couple of episodes, and I'll go back in the new year and do another one of those," Jon tells the AP. "And then we'll see what happens."
The Golden Globe winner plays an advertising exec. on "Mad Men," but will be cast as doctor who lives in Liz Lemon's apartment building.
Be sure to catch "30 Rock" Thursday nights on NBC.
