The Official Animal Crossing: Wild World Thread

Going inside a building, then out, resets any broken snowballs.

Head = Smallest size to begin rolling it
Body = Size of your head

That's all you need to know.
 
what's up with turnips. someone said you can buy them from someone on sunday, but there are no NPCs in my town to buy turnips from. How do I do this turnip thing?
 
Normally you can find Joan on sunday mornings from 6:00am to noon wandering around town. She sells the turnips.

Except today, because it's january 1st (celebration day). Look for her next week again.

Joan wasn't in town today, but she's normally in on sundays between 6 and noon...

you buy her turnips at her price on sunday, then sell them to nook between monday and saturday, hopefully for higher than you buy them for... they spoil in a week, so you want them sold by saturday...

I think it's just the body has to be one 'size' bigger than the head. I do max size body (big snowball, you push it along very slowly), and the head is the size where the snowball touches your hands/fingertips, but you're not pushing slowly yet. You can also roll across non-snow to make your snowball smaller.
 
i'm amazed at how popular this game is with females. in my experience they love it and become really addicted to playing it. why do you think it is?

Got another "good job for a beginner today". I could've sworn the snowballs were exactly the same size as in faceless' pics. =/

Faceless: Do you still receive snowman furniture when making a perfect snowman even though you already got the complete set? If so, I might be interested in buying some off you, for, say, 12k a piece? :)

Where is Magic Box getting that quote from. At E3 Eguchi confirmed his development division was working on Animal Crossing Revolution which will of course make use of the WiFi. Is this article just referring to that, or two games?

'cause AC is a fully realized game of "playing house" ----- and the masochist inside of all us boys likes the game in memory of when we all were little boys, and older girls would force us to play "house" with them .... and down deep we liked it, against our better judgement....

Also, it's a game where you define your own goals creatively --- where other games boast set challenges to overcome and fail at, AC's entertainment is defined by simply being a creatively driven person and defining your own goals.

the snowman model wasn't a part of the 10 piece furniture set, got a snowman fridge for the snowman i built today... now it's really the last item!

Not at all, as far as I am aware. I haven't caught very many either, but they're only worth like 100+ and I think they're all season.
