How do you lay down tiles outside??

Any good turnip prices today? I've got about 2800 chilling in my home right now.

You just stand somewhere, go to your patterns menu, and drag a pattern on the one with the arrow pointing to the ground thingy.

Nook is buying turnips for... 47. :(

nope, my bells are just over 100.

quick question, does nookway turn into nookington's once I become a member...the store counter said I'm ~4000 away from becoming a silver member. if so, I may need someone to make a purchase at my nook's to complete the requirements for nookington's. if anyone's available in the next hour or so, let me know and I will open my gates and add you to my list if you're not on there.

Yeah, someone has to buy something from your store, and you need to spend like 240k or some such amount.

My turnips got lower every time the price changed, in my town :(
 
Guys - turnip $$ are up to 176 here if you want in.

In my house in PinkyToe I have a picture of Amelia. She's an Eagle who I didn't even know was a girl until she hit on me. She got way too personal every time I talked to her, so I started avoiding her, but that just made her get more and more creepy with her affections. Once, she mailed me a peach and told me in the letter that she had "rubbed it all over her face." I'm not kidding. Big surprise when that greasy, mashed-up peach didn't grow into a tree. Sold at a friend's town for 471... I have a feeling one of us will get a higher price later in the week, but I'm not that greedy. Made 3.4 million.
 
I'd like to sell my turnips too if possible.

The price is 168 bells in my town, so anything higher than that would be most welcome.

I didn't know the prices fluctuated throughout the day. Why do mine always seem to stay in the 70-90 bell area?

Also, there seems to be a bug going around!
If you get a blank letter do NOT place the item in your house. Sell it to get rid of it.

A blank letter seems to have been distributed for those who have signed on WiFi, like Iwata's letter. It's a Red Tulip with the furniture icon.
 
Where do you get special Nintendo items?
I've heard of arwings, triforces, and pikmin. Do you just have to wait for Nook to sell them?

Apparently some griefers have found a way of sending mails to people via the server. Alot of people have gotten a letter containing an item called 'Red Tulips' with the furniture icon. If you place it in your house it will become invisible and then you can put anything on that spot anymore.

I heard Redd sells the triforce, but I don't know about the rest. I did get an Arwing from a recent GAF treasure hunt though. If you want you can pick up mine to catalog and order it yourself.

edit: I have the triforce in my catalog as well if you're interested.
