what's with the bright lights festival? How do I get lights on my house?

Forgot which series you're playing? Only NPCs can participate in events.

Anyway this festival sucks. It kills the startup time of the game and its all to convenient that it lasts 7 days and my 8th villager moved out the day it started. So now I can choose each villager once a day as the winner and make them all happy.

My landscaping is going well! Lotsa trees moved and only one failed so far! Even got a fully grown peach tree. Now if only the NPCs would send me the other fruits I need. Also because of this I found a glitch. I was chopping down a tree and my axe broke after one swing! It knocked the cherries off of it anyway. So I went to get a new axe and the cherries were on the ground and there was also three more back on the tree!

How do you get lowercase fs in town tune setting? I saw on a faq how to make Wish You Were Here, but there's no lowercase fs.

there are two octaves though.. I would assume that lowercase would indicate the first octave, and uppercase indicates the second.

They keep just fine for a week even if I don't put them on a table. And as far as I'm concerned, If I wanna keep 'em for longer, I might as well buy new ones when Joan comes on Sunday. If I don't sell the ones I have, I won't make any money for that week nor will I have any room to buy new turnips for the coming week. So I'm better off selling.

This morning, Nook was selling turnips for 157. So i sold about 3000 of them. Kept about 500.
And then 20 minutes ago, at 10:45PM, my mate asks me to open my gates. So i did. Checked the turnip prices at about 10:55PM and it was $591! Ran back to my house for those extra turnips. Made it with 30 seconds to go. I feel ripped off. And a bit hungry.

I can't understand why I haven't seen high prices in my town.
This morning turnips are going for like 81.

If I ever get high prices I'll leave the gate open for a few hours and let people sell sell sell

I've sold all mine turnips this morning at 146 bells (paid last sunday 89).

He tells you when you come in, I think he puts it on the town bulletin board as well. They are upstairs and last all day as far as I can tell.
