Probably cuz like most of Will's competitors, they don't realize that BB is, in fact, a game. They develop personal relationships with "their" player/character and just can't believe someone like Will or Boogie would stoop so low as to showmance a girl, or outright lie to a players face all in the name of saving their ass and advancing.
Or maybe, just, you know, longshot here, perhaps, it is possible to acknowlege someone's expertise yet not like them enough to be upset that their time is up. Get a grip...the absence of fanatical Will-Worship is not only possible, it has many possible explainations. Like, for instance, he won already...so...why should I have a hard on for him winning again? I would not want to watch him win again, no matter how "deserved" it may be on a pure mind game level. His mindgame tactics were top-notch...how does that make me beholden to his appeal?
BB follows the same basic tenets as Survivor: Outplay, Outwit, Oulast. Each method is as valid as the others, but you're inevitably going to have people who prefer one of those methods over the others. At this point, Janelle has outplayed the rest, Will(up until now) had outwitted the rest, and Boogie and Erika in their different ways simply outlasted the rest(Boogie by being in Will's shadow, even if he was the more active member of chilltown, Erika by floating under the radar for most of the game). So it comes down to a combination of which aspect of the game you prefer and who do you "like", for whatever reason. For me, I have an extreme high respect for Janelle's competative prowess which is equally potent in physical and mental challenges, and despite her mistakes, I like her...I like her charm, and I like that she's smarter than she lets on...she knows how she is perceived and she knows how to play to that perception of herself almost flawlessly. She's self-aware and for the most part presents herself as is...she can fill the role of "the typical blonde prettygirl" and have fun doing it, but at the same time there's a layer of complexity underneath. So in short I like how she plays, and I like that she isn't a complete tart. If she had her same competitive edge, yet acted like airhead Holly, I wouldn't like her nearly as much. Likewise if she had her wit and charm, but played like Howie, I wouldn't like her nearly as much.
