Im also from Spain and did it with that link yesterday, seems that it only works there, maybe for Italy and France also.

EDIT. OK seems Italy also doesnt have the program.

Which are the countries that can use it without the proxy thing?

Wow, I can't believe so many people didn't have any idea what Spotify is! Here in Sweden everyone under the age of 40 knows what it is (ok, that may be a slight overstatement, but not by much). Then again, Spotify is Swedish, so I guess it makes sense that people here know about it. Too bad it's not available in all countries yet (unless you make it available for yourself anyway).

I would appreciate an invite.

Edit: Okay, I made an account, but I can't get the software to download in Chrome. I tried IE and FF but I can't get the proxy to work for either one. Now it won't let me log in at all. :\ I'm getting a 403 forbidden.

Okay, got it worked out. If anyone else is having trouble just go to http://www.spotify.com/en/download/windows/ to download the software without a proxy.

Now that I got it working, this is freaking awesome.

Well, the ads seem to be localized, and there's almost always one of them in my Spotify player (Norwegian account). Then there's the commercial breaks between every, what, 6-7-8 songs? The ads are not too annoying, but they still make upgrading to a Premium account look very tempting (which I guess is the main reason they're there).

Yeah, when I said that I had only listened to a song or two. I actually kind of like the ads, partly thanks to the British accents.

I can't wait for the day my brothers and sisters all around the world can enjoy hulu and I can enjoy things like streaming the BCC's coverage of F1 and spotify :(

I'd love love love it if someone could put together an SSX 3 playlist. And I don't mean the album, I mean the full soundtrack. The album featured only about a 3rd of all the songs in the actual game :(

You are a gentleman and a scholar! Honestly, that's awesome man, thanks so much! Shame about some of those songs, the ones I bolded are some of the best! Some of the songs are the unmixed versions, but its no biggy. (The version of Rockstar in SSX3 is the Jason Nevins mix) Again, thanks a bunch :) I probably speak for others too! This is awesome :D

It seems spotify caught on that I wasn't from the UK. My current location doesn't match my profile. D: I only have 14 days to "travel". Is there a way I can fool the program?

Nevermind, I'm a noob. I wasn't aware it had a built in proxy option.

Too bad that Spotify pretty much killed their service, I have used it ever since it came out, then just recently, 10hour/month and max 5 playbacks per song on the free accounts, and you have to buy the song to keep listening to that song again.

I used the free version because I was okay with the ads, and now they removed that. =(

Awesome with all the game-music though.

I just ended up paying for premium. It's easily worth it, especially since I have an iPhone, an iPad, and have the occasional use of offline mode on my laptop. So for me, if a piece of music isn't on Spotify, it might as well not exist at all.

Great service if you can afford it.
