Are you just saying that, or do you actually own a MkI MR2? because ya know... I'm not called mr2mike fo' nothin' :D And fellow AW11 owners aren't the most abundant thing, so it'd be like... "fancy meeting you here" ;)

I know that my primary car will be the Lexus SC430 (Toyota Soarer 430SC in GT4). Hahaha, I'm gonna' show my brother what he *should* be doing with a car like that. =D

What? Leaving it the fuck alone?

The Soarer 430SC was ass in GT Concept.

So is every stock car in GT. But now I can finally start toying with it and it just won't be the same car. Weee!

Leno's a big GT fan. I remember him doing an interview with Tiger Woods where he went on a short rant about GT before finnaly talking about Tiger Woods golf game.

So how's the car modding aspect of this game?

Is it similar to past GT games where you just have generic components for all the different GT parts, where the next item is always more powerful and more expensive? Do you get a list of real world upgrades for all or some of the different cars?

I don't think it really matters. Can you even find a TV under $4,000 dollars that does 1080p right now?

I wouldn't be surprised if a few 1080i models out there somehow supported 1080p, since it's part of the HDTV spec and all. It's just a: rather hard to say without something to test the mode with, and b: a fairly moot point since the official 1080p spec maxes out at 30fps.

That's missing stuff from the short list i've seen of the japanese soundtrack. I've read also read that the JPN soundtrack has close to 100 tracks...so either that's bullshit or that american list is incomplete. Quite honestly I hope that list is outright fake. :P

Sigh...I just watched GT4's intro. You just KNOW SCEA is going to ruin it by inserting some shitty ass song. Just leave Moon Over The Castle there, you fucks!

My Favorite Game should've became the US theme for GT since they prefer to use license songs for the series here. That fit the game just right.

No. Moon Over The Castle or NOTHING.

:P

And that intro clip is exhibit A in my case to have the Ford GT40 legally declared the sexiest car of all time. Case closed, no argument accepted. So damn sweet that in GTA:SA almost every garage I have has a Bullet in it just in case I want to cruise with style. :D

The GT4 Original Soundtrack is now my 2nd fav soundtrack this year behind MGS3. All of The "BAD" (that's the bands name) songs are really guitar heavy stuff. Ohira with the menu music which means really nice laid back tracks. The last 4 songs are really kick ass vocal tracks. 2 of which were in trailers before (the "What to Believe" song is one of them, that's the song everyone seemed to want to know the name of and who did it). All of those vocals songs feature some singer name Dakota Star. I did a search for her name and couldn't find anything, but whoever she is she rocks. Especially the song Soul Surfer.

Big improvement over that awful licensed track list they released recently.

The "What to Believe" song seems to sound different from the Prologue version. Haven't listened to the other tracks yet though

I just noticed that the last 4 tracks are made from the same guy that did F-Zero GX's soundtrack for the character themes. Good stuff

After listening to a couple of tracks, I find Dakota Star's "Break Down" better in Prologue than the slower version in GT4.

God there is just too much in this game. I cant wait until I get a good enough garage and unlock. most of the stuff in arcade mode. I will be able to have the biggest game fest with loads of mates with this game:D:D:D

Damn, the soundtrack has 5 remixes from GT1, that's pretty cool. They don't stray too far away from the originals, which is good. Hopefully they won't be cut from the US release...there'd be no reason for they to be cut anyway, the game is on a freaking DVD9. :P

By the way, I'm pretty damn sure "THE BAD" is just Masahiro Andoh's band, he composed all of the original anyway. If you like this kind of music, you can could check out his "real" band, T-Square.

I love the motion blur they've added to high speeds in GT4:

Oh, God. If I don't get this tomorrow, I will cry. I will cry and yell. UPS Ground arrives in the crack of ass...I'd better be fucking playing this game in 7 hours. !@#$&!@#$&

1up has a new article on GT4:

On Kaz's position at Sony, I had no idea he has such a high position there:

"Yamauchi is the president of Polyphony but is also a senior vice president of SCEI, and as such, is deeply involved in numerous projects outside of Gran Turismo. "He has a lot of say in everything," Imasaki reveals. "I guess that's what comes from being the guy behind a franchise that's now sold more than 36 million copies."

It also looks like PD will be sharing their technology with other Sony teams:

"He's very influential on both the hardware and software sides of the business, and just recently, he's become much more involved with other first-party teams to encourage the sharing of technology. You'll actually start to see some of the fruits of this next year."

The removal of the online mode:

"I actually have a working disc of the online version on my desk right now,"

"The problem is that when you have such a beautiful game, you really want to be able to keep everything within your control. Yamauchi is a perfectionist, and he wants to make sure that the game retains its beauty and doesn't go out with any weird bugs that would make the experience seem less real. I think it was a wise decision for him to pull the online mode when he did because it has really helped keep the project on schedule. A lot of online games are released and make you live with a lot of problems. The GT team members are very critical of their own work, they're artists, and they're very concerned about maintaining the Gran Turismo magic in every mode."

Also Motor Trend magazine put Kaz at number 17 on the top 50 most influential people in the automative industry.

Whoah...wtf? I never knew he was Senior VP of SCEI either.

P.S. Tracking number says game will be here in about 6 hours. I'm so not sleeping with the thought of GT4 almost here.

If it's a matter of bugs then, they could easily fix the US version up [to his satisfaction] in the extra time allowed. Let's hope it's there. Doubt I'm buying it otherwise.

maskrider: I remember you having a website for GT4P pics, do you have one for GT4 pics aswell? If so, whats the address? :)
