Holy shit I can't believe they aired that.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

:O

This episode will probably be banned soon. lol

Holy shit.
Those weren't lasers or water guns, those were the genuine deal.
No wonder Quintel was so excited about this episode on Twitter.

By the way, major points for Don't You (Forget About Me).

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who went "Holy shit" when that part at the end happened. I mean,
even if they were living animatronic machines, they were still being shot with guns and stuff.
Pretty ballsy stuff.

I was wondering why it was rated TV-PG V. I guess that was why.

Hahaha when the
bear said "I guess it's show time!" with his hand in his jacket, I swear I thought it would be the usual "you think it's a gun" gag and he'd pull out a guitar or something. Then he actually pulled out a real mother fucking gun!

Saw this on my Amazon:

If Adventure Time is anything to go by, they have to do a full-season set next, right?

Right?

That compilation has some of my favorite episodes, though.

I saw one (Mordecai) today in the King of Prussia PA TRU. Apparently it's supposed to say something but the button was broken.

By "something" you mean GET BACK TO WORK!

I approve of your Benson purchase. How much was it?

Anyone picked up the DVD for this? Worth it? Any cool extra features or anything?

Are you talking about the "Slack Pack"? If so, it has some good episodes on it some of which are a few of my favorites. As for extras, there's a mini-episode about a ringtone which I thought was stupid and that's about it. A very bare-bones dvd release, but it's Regular Show on dvd so get it if you want Regular Show on dvd.

You know who else likes dvds?

I sure don't!!!!!!!! Who????

But really, I think I'm going to pick up a copy. Sweet.

I just recently saw an episode one morning on Cartoon Network. Funny stuff haha, I plan on getting a few seasons from Amazon soon.

It appears that there's also a set of figurines similar to an Adventure Time set I've seen before.

If I ever see Benson sold individually, I will buy him. Also, check out the breasts on Muscle Man.

Jesus. I want the whole set. Especially pops though.

I fucking love this show. Glad to see it gets love on GAF.

My ex got me this shirt some time back:

When I worked at Sam's Club all the kids kept pointing it out, so at least it's got an audience. I'm actually wearing it right now.

It was cheap. like $6.99 or something.

That was at TRU as well. $20 I think.

Edit: Just picked a Muscle Man magnet at 5 Below. It was the only Regular Show one they had but there were some Adventure Time ones

It's the same reason why Clone Wars gets away with a lot of the violent things they do. Only faceless Clones or Aliens get decapitated, stabbed, blown up, shot, or fall to their death.

One of my students last year gave me this shirt. I think I posted it in this thread. Haha!

I was also kind of surprised by the "balls drop" snicker from Mordo and Rigs to be honest... Great episode.
Saw this on my Amazon:
16 EPISODE DVD PICS
I just feel insulted by this. Why? What's the point? 16 episodes? Just give us the season sets we want, ugh.

Awww, yeyaaaaaaah.

TRU also had the set of smaller figure for $25, but I try not to collect things like that for cost and lose-ability reasons.. They had hangers for the Cool Bikes pull back toys but those were empty. Plan on going back maybe tomorrow night and/or Friday (stocking days) to see if they get anything else in.

"Sugar Rush" had one of the best Mordecai & Rigby victory dances definitely.

"Da-dadada-Donuts! Da-dadada-Donuts, donuts! Da-dadada-Donuts!"

Yeah that was pretty sweet.

The time skips were the best. Showing stuff from older episodes was pretty awesome.

this episode was the first one i've seen in a while. i like the show, but it has a real obvious formula: starts with a normal dilemma, and then that somehow introduces some weird otherworldly presence that becomes the antagonist for the episode.

this time the weird stuff was just time travel, and it was introduced very early. the episode revolves around just one thing, and it feels much tighter as a result. really liked it.

The formula works though. That's the thing. I know some stupid weird shit is going to happen, but it's always a pleasure (to me anyway) to find out what weird event will happen. I like the general flow of the show; the characters, the settings, the music, the semi plot, and the voice acting. It just flows well together to make for an enjoyable watch, in my opinion.

it's not bad, but it becomes boring after a while, like psych. with psych there's no mystery that this random lesson his father taught him when he was young would somehow come in handy and save the day at the end of the show.

How could such an awesome episode have such a weak ending?
He decided not to kiss her in the end after all that trouble??? I don't understand why Quintel and the writers couldn't follow through.
Come on! This is "anything but" Regular Show, so enough with the neverending Sam and Diana shtick, it's getting old. Oh and Margaret is officially way past annoying.
Your breath stinks!
Boo. Bring back Cloudy J!

Actually, I think Mordecai and Margaret's relationship has been progressing pretty nicely so far.
Now Rigby and Eileen is another story.

Just Announced! Regular Show's "Eggscelent" won the Emmy for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program!

First time ever a Cartoon Network show wins a "Best Show" Emmy!

Hell yeah! Love that episode, everything about it works. Maybe more people will watch Regular Show now and this thread will get Adventure Time level of posts.

Well, I wasn't exactly right on RS being the first CN show to win the Best Show Emmy. Turns out Samurai Jack, Camp Lazlo and Robot Chicken all won before.

But still, no reason not to not celebrate. Free Cake? Video Game Break?

I'm so happy it won an Emmy. That should help insure the show is around for awhile. I've always been worried that it would get canceled because not many people were into it.

Actually Regular show is one of Cartoon Network's most popular show's besides Adventure Time. Would explain why CN is willing to give Regular Show some leg room with some of crazy stuff they do, like the mechanical bears having real guns a few eps back.
