and I don't think Mendez was a "reveal". he mutated when he got hit badly by the fire, same way the Tyrant did in re2. he still had his original upper body and his arms mutated with spikes coming out of the fingers. it's tenuous at best.
Yes there were experiments done with Las Plagas it created some ugly monsters but we do not see how that is done, for all we know its grown. We don't know how they got to that point but when they get there their bodies don't shift and change. Even "it" when that scorpion thing comes out it rips open out of its back, it doesn't grow from his skin. Mendez body riped in half , it did not actively mutate.
I am just saying the way Krauser's arm transform is not like anything the rest of the creatures do, its completely different. And its something we have seen for 5 straight games, I instantly recognized the style of the transformation, it is classic T-virus work. I am not saying that he doesn't have Las Plagas in him, just that the arm most definetly resembles past RE game mutations than anything in RE4.
