I say this because I am one. I dont know anyone in college who doesnt support obama, and I doubt a single one know any of his policies.

To be fair, is that really that different than middle aged housewives that vote for Hillary without really knowing what her policies are?:P

I am registered independent and NY is a closed primary. I tried to align myself with a party in January, but they told me I needed to do it last October. :(
I went through that in 2004, and had to absentee vote (I think that was it) in the primary, but I should be fine this time.

most have been nice, im also not hard selling, im just reminding them where to go what to bring, then i'll ask them if they know who they are voting for. if its clinton i ask why then make a small plea for obama and thank them for their time. if its an undecided i'll spend a few minutes going over what they consider priority issues and make a harder sale. since they aren't voting right then or there you really have to kill them with kindness and leave a good last impression for when they walk in the booth... i'm also playing up my texas accent, people in the NE eat it up.

ok getting started. did not realize they gave you text to say. that makes it easier i guess.

i am signed up for Mass.

Absolutely perfect endorsement that represents a certain segment of Obama supporters.

specially cause he is pretty big here in virginia where he was a huge part of the local music community out in Charlottesville.

adding more fire to that feb 12 beltway election next week.

Again, I see absolutely zero difference between the policies of Obama and Clinton. The only thing Obama has is the whole "charm" image that the media has played up.

He's actually more liberal than Clinton, and of course while that'll make him more popular here, I cannot understand why actual republicans would vote for him with that being the case.

Severe weather this afternoon in Memphis which is most likely going to hurt Obama in Tennessee.

He was actually losing Memphis and even in the rest of the state, last poll I saw.

36/31 ? that makes no sense. 33 percent undcecicded?

most other polls have hillary at double digits. obama did not even visit the state.

There was 6 for John Edwards and I think 27% undecided. I don't keep up with this like the gaf pundits do so I am pretty sure you will all know more than me.

I can understand him losing the state but losing in Memphis is pretty surprising to me.

Edit: here is the one I saw:

white water says high

pardon gate will be here soon might want to say high to him as well. as well as the statements she has made regarding republicans. even this morning she was trying to make obama out to be more conservative in his policies when she was on cnn. she will likely not be very receptive to even working with most republicans

next mandates for all is a hard argument for any conservative to support as well.

Well, I was also talking about the republicans who claim they'd vote for Obama over whoever is the republican nominee, even though Obama has nothing a republican would want to support.

thats what i was talking bout. i live in va and we are the reddest damn state ever. so i have alot of republicamn friends and we have debated this a few times.

they hate her because of her husband and her attitudes toward republicans. they hate her. just hate her so not as much like obama and his policies as hillary has burned alot of bridges.

next just cause some one is a republican does not mean they are super conservative and can't share liberal views.

i am a democrat who shares a few conservative views. and he has shown the ability to work with republicans many times. so its a combination of those things for sure.

I'm not voting for any candidate, since I'm registered Republican (and I don't care for their nominees). I need to get off my ass and switch party affiliations.

cant you ask for a provisional ballot?

thats for if you registered but was not on the voter rolls. so you can vote and they can check and see if you registered later.

he failed to register period. but he should check some states do let you register the day of if i am not mistaken.

Those states are Minnesota, Maine, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and Idaho. If you live in one of those states and neglect to register before the election, you may show up on Election Day with ID and proof of residency and you can vote. Contact your state for more info

Heh, I forgot to check the little box asking for a democratic primary ballot with my absentee ballot. So... I only got to vote on stupid propositions and crap. Bah.

On the other hand, I convinced my roommate to vote for Obama, so Obama +1 anyway! Too bad though, I had hoped to cancel out my mom's vote for Hillary.

its all good man. i am sure you will not be the only one. it happens
