Works awesome, plays divx/xvid fine on the mac using connect360 (just had to rename from .avi to .mov)

Only problem, very pixelated, I can live with it though its something I've been waiting for forever.

I put a couple of divx movies on a dvd and the 360 plays them flawlessly. Great update.

Noticed one thing: It doesn't seem to include your Country anymore when you look at a profile. Must be something you have to add to your Bio now? That sucks.

Also, I've tried to hook up my External HDD to my Xbox to try some stuff.. but it's not showing up on the system. Do External HDDs work? I'm on a Windows machine but could never get Media Centre stuff working.

Yeah, divx over my network off my home server works great. Everything I tried worked, AC3 audio worked. Sweeet.

No divx support for MCE. Gotta wait and see if the new Extenders for Media Center gets some sort of release on the 360

off-topic: The bioshock patch is now out.

It fixes widescreen. It looks SO much better and I wasn't even one of the people complaining about widescreen. It's now default set to be fixed but you can turn horizontal limit back on in the options if you wish.

Going through my collection I've found that most xvid will play. Thankfully everything I've spent the last several months encoding seems to play fine. A lot of the stuff I've downloaded will play as well, but some won't. Nothing a recode won't fix however.

The only thing I could ask for at this point is to make it a little more robust and add subtitle support (I know these are never going to happen).

Overall it's a pretty good implementation but not what I would call perfect. With that said, half the people that make stuff available for download on the internet can't seem to encode their stuff for shit anyway.

The dashboard is pretty snappy as noted. I like the cross navigation as well.

Great update. The best thing about it is how fast everything responds now. FoF feature is really neat and the new marketplace looks way better. One small thing I love is how the dashboard fades to black when you start a XBLA game, a nice touch.

DivX is great I suppose but my TV's been connected to my PC for years now.

Kinda stupid though that Europe doesn't have Inside Xbox. And my Played Games list is still cluttered like hell (and redownloading old arcade games doesn't help, I tried )

The clan thing works great Gowans, good job. I could not stop myself from downloading Halo, and now I feel completely digusting inside. Oh and I see some Culdcept Demo on there. The Inside XBOX stream works great, loaded up in just a couple of seconds. Everything about the update is pretty slick so far.

Sharing my content with WMP 11 but I dont see my divx content. I tried renaming them .avi but they still dont show up any ideas?

I've tested 15 different Divx and Xvid files and I've only had one of them not play and another that plays but with a huge black bar down the middle of the screen. The ones that do play normally, play just as well as they would if I was running it off my PC.

I'm loving and hating the new marketplace right now. It's easier to find some of the newer content but it is still a pain in the ass to find older content. I really wish they had some sort of search feature instead of making me go through mountains of menus to get the the content I want to download.

Now I´m confused - did you just clear the cache, or remove the update? For the latter you have to turn the box off, and turn back on holding the small sync button until the console is fully rebooted, IIRC.

Anybody else have the guide freeze up when navigating it too fast? It's happened to me twice now and I had to turn off my console.
