We already have games where Mario fights against Shadow the Hedgehog in Artistic Skating competitions, so I don't get how this crossover is devaluating the franchise anymore than star wars and marvel having crossover with any rock under the sun

I welcome this goofy games, Mario is the mascot for the entire media, I welcome this crossovers as long as they fit the caricatureque nature of the franchise
