Man, it was fucking great. Crowd was really really quiet in the first half(but we were flat out making EVERYTHING). Once the Kings went on their "We're going to make every goddamn 3 we shoot" run, the crowd got really into it.
Fucking great game. Once Hinrich made that three the place went absolutely nuts. Most of Gordan's 4th quarter field goals were flat out ridiculous.

Great game. Place was freakin' packed too. I didn't know there were so many Kings fans in Chicago. You heard the cheers when the Kings made their comeback. Fuckers.
Ah well, we got 'em in the end. We're holding up better than I expected on this hellish schedule.
 
Big game by Kobe. He shot well, too-- must've been guarded by Harpring all night. ;)

Dumb ass Hamblem sat Kobe with an 8pt lead in the 1st. 10-0 run for Jazz. Sat him to start the 4th. Another run. It was awesome how Kobe huddled the team together down 4 or so with 2 minutes left under the ft line and they came back, played some nice D and took the lead with his dish to Chucky off a steal for 3. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Lakers won tonight so they are better without Lamar. Trade him now!!!!! *rolleyes*

Thanks for the repost, Eminem. I had never seen that one before. It's a bit too hectic for my tastes, and I couldn't hear the music because my speakers aren't working for some reason, but still a great video. A couple of plays on there that I hadn't seen before, which is amazing, considering. :D

Grant can't play a lick of defense or rebound, but he has a good offensive game. If only he wasn't such a huge pussy he could easily be a 15/10 guy. He could be a real good fit for a run and gun team.
 
Grant a pussy? Since when? Brian Grant was never a pussy in Sacto, Portland or Miami. He had a good amount of injuries, but he always played tough.

And is it just me or have the Kings been in a funk since the All Star snubbing? What are they 1 and 4 since then?
 
The funk started a bit before the snubbing. And now the officials are pissed at them it seems.

Maybe they thought with the Mobley trade they could just outscore people, but are now figuring out they can't. The still don't have the same firepower as a Phoenix or Dallas. The last funk they were in was at the start of the season when Christie was hurt.
 
They're getting killed on the boards and blowing leads in tight games. Kinda like the Lakers with better ball movement plus offensive production from the bigs. The Lakers are at least trying to D it up now though :o

How does Eddie freakin' Curry get 12 boards? O_o
 
Well the King's frontline is totally unathletic, their backcourt is undersized and Peja(though not playing in this game) is a horrid rebounder. Their best rebounders are on the bench with Barnes and Evans. People just jump over the back of Miller and Webber for boards. What they need is a Luol Deng or Stromile Swift. The problem is, Adleman seems allergic to playing those type of players. The team had Gerald Wallace for years, who was at times their second best rebounder and he was at the bottom of the bench. Instead you see a guy like Songalia become the 7th man, who is of course, another unathletic shooter. The team is just getting redundant with unathletic shooting big men up front and shrunken shooting guards in the backcourt. There isn't exactly a huge difference between Bibby, Mobley and Bojax.

except bobby is a good rebounder for his size, bibby only gets a rebound when it bounces out to the three point line

A Portland man who put a tattoo on the right arm of former Trail Blazer Rasheed Wallace is suing to stop the forward from displaying the work in ads for Nike basketball shoes. Matthew Reed from TigerLilly Tattoo and DesignWorks claims he owns the copyright for the design of the tattoo. Reed's lawsuit wants the Nike ad featuring Wallace and the tattoo off the air and the Internet, as well as damages.

According to the suit filed last week in U.S. District Court, Wallace approached Reed in 1998, saying he wanted an Egyptian-themed family design with a king and queen and three children and a stylized sun in the background. Reed researched the idea and came up with a design and put it on Wallace's arm. Reed said the $450 charge was a relatively small amount, but he expected to benefit from the exposure.

Wallace, now with the NBA champion Detroit Pistons, has one of the more distinctive tattoos in the NBA. Sports Illustrated for Kids used it in a feature asking readers to match each tattoo with the NBA player who wears it. But Reed claims he became aware last year of a Nike ad that centers on the tattoo and its creation. He claims the ad violates the copyright he holds to "the Egyptian Family Pencil Drawing."
