bishoptl said:Barkley talked right over Magic at the end! He's trying to make some point about how well the Phoenix Suns organization has done, and Charles just jumps in "PHOENIX. YEAH. I USED TO PLAY THERE." :lol Man, I gotta get TNT.
When was the interview? if it was during tonight's events, I have it TiVo'd.Poody said:This forum will have nothing to do with the clip of the interview you want. Most of the time its someone from another forum that uploads the clip and we share the links over here.

Tell me when it was...and I'll have it up within 20 minutes.
isamu said:No, actually Mrs. Magic Johnson believe it or not...
isamu said:Miguel. It was definitely before I got home at 5:00pm PST. I'm guessing it aired sometime between 1:00pm and 5:00pm PST. Miguel please PLEASE check and see if you got it. It was conducted by the old black gentlemen who usually interviews importantn players before all the All-Star games. check between 2 and 5pm PST or 5 and 8pm EST if you live on the east coast. I'd really appreciate it man![]()
Bat said:Great dunk contest. JR definetly got robbed....he's probably the best dunker there, and that behind the back dunk was the one really original one of the night (the other great dunks were great because of their presentation, mostly). Amare can't compete with 2-guards in this contest, so it kinda sucked that he was in the finals (though the first Nash dunk was a classic). Josh Smith was really consistent and never missed, which is nice, but he's no Jason Richardson or anything. That reminds me, why does everyone keep mentioning Vince's bounce-on-the-floor-between-the-legs when Richardson did the same thing in 2003 but finished with his back to the basket? Or how he did in 2004 off the back board? The only dunk I saw that can even be compared to those two was JR's.
In the end, though, it was the first dunk contest since 2000 to have three quality contestants, which automatically made it great. Lebron would have made it better.
bionic77 said:Talent wise Amare was only better then the white boy, but that first dunk with Nash really earned him a place in the finals and he deserved it with that dunk. Definitely one of the best dunks I have ever seen.
Cloudy said:Damn, did they get Kobe's OK on the Butler deal? Those 2 are so close![]()
Poody said:Only two good things can come out of this and the other is there will be Kobe and Caron videos.
retardboy said:FSN/So Cal Sports Report just said that the deal they're working on is Boozer for Butler, Divac, and George. They also said that the Lakers asked Sac for Peja and BJax and Sac said the only way we'd get them is if we gave up Odom.
BatiGOOOOOOL said:That Nash to Amare dunk was funny, but it doesn't seem exactly difficult and as exciting as those TNT guys believe.
That header by Nash is a pretty easy thing to do if you have played soccer before. And the dunk was nothing special.
Loki said:Dude, that was NOT easy. First off, Nash stood in the exact same spot the entire time, meaning that Amare's pass had to be absolutely on the money to hit Nash directly on the head, and then Nash had to direct it precisely back up to the rim. I'd say the first part was harder; taken together, it was a high degree of difficulty for the "trick", if not for the dunk itself. Still, it was memorable. :lol
Nash should've tried a backheel pass. Now that would've been cool. Plus the dunk was nothing special.
J2 Cool said:So where does Anderson place on the Sports Guy's unintentional comedy list? That almost killed me I was laughing so hard.
"We play Houston on Wednesday, so ( Tracy) McGrady and Yao Ming are going to play 47 (minutes)," Popovich said, "and Tim is going to play about five."
Countered McGrady, "I told Pops I'm playing 15 minutes. We got two big games coming up, Seattle and San Antonio back-to-back, 15 minutes, Pop."
Forever in cement
Incidentally, now you too can act like an NBA superstar. Next month, Jim Gray will be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Soon you can walk all over Gray just like Kobe Bryant.
