i suppose this is what passes for a lakers three-peat these days. :lol

in his post-game interview kobe apparently told caron butler to "get well soon" and join them in detroit...i didn't see it myself. i guess he's legitimately sick. and since caron's their only tradeable asset, i guess kupchack is holding pat. you'll notice i'm suppressing rage, or at least suspending it until the trade deadline.

sacramento just got bent over. i assume those are all last-year contracts they took in? cos otherwise it makes no sense. i'm not sure there's any way it makes sense.

I wished! Kenny Thomas is signed till like 2010. Williamson has another two years, and Skinner has another year. The even more amazing part is that it seems the original trade involved Glenn Robinson and his expiring contract.
 
WTF were the Kings thinking. Oh, well. As a Suns fan, I'm pretty happy about this. Also I'm glad to see AI finally get an all-star caliber teammate.

Try the trade again without Bradley and it will be accepted. The rule is he can't be part of a bigger deal but he can be traded by himself. He will be traded seperately, but that will be contingent upon the other deal being completed.
 
Got back from the Blazer game. Pryz is nuts. Miles is useless, although the new hair is hilarious. Kobe got booed every time he touched the ball which was funny, considering there were just as many Laker fans as Blazer fans in attendance. Damon had a nice run there scoring 8 points in like 30 seconds. Reef played well but I wonder who's team he'll be on after tomorrow.

And WTF on the Webber trade. You're telling me SAC couldn't do any better than that?

Jerry Stackhouse - Did not complement Iverson's game very well (both had the same shooting guard mentality/skills). Because of the skill redundancy he slightly took away from Iverson's game (and at the time made him play out of position).

Larry Hughes - Did not start in Philadelphia and did not truly emerge as an all-star caliber player until this year.

Keith Van Horn - ..............................
 
Wow, Cloudy destroyed the Kings. :D That trade was like a realgm trade come to life. What were the Kings thinking? These players could've been gotten in the off-season if they wanted to move Webber. They go from having a chance if the pieces fall into place- or should I say out of place- to not a chance in hell.

Is the Garnett interview isamu's looking for the one where he got choked up talking about losing?
 
Wasn't C Webb public enemy number 1 in Sac last season? When he was injured they were doing well but as soon as he got back in the lineup they started losing/choking.

I've actually got a pretty interesting story for all of you.
I recently got a Kings cap for my Birthday, but I never really liked wearing hats, so I just kept it on my desk. Yesterday I finally decided to show my King pride, and I wore the hat all fucking day, I didn't take it off in the car, or indoors, or anywhere, and I felt so happy. I decided that I would wear my hat after every King win, or big performance by Webber. I then wake up today, and turn on ESPN news and see 5 consecutive clips of Webber. I get a feeling in my stomach, but I still hope for the best, then I hear the news....... I had tears streaming down my face, how the fuck did they trade Webb for 3 pieces of Shit? How Fucking stupid are the Kings organization?
I don't know what to do anymore. I'm always going to love Webber, but I don't think Philadelphia will be a great fit. Fuck, I started to cry again. THen you have the Kings, I suppose I will support them for the rest of the season, but it just won't be the same...

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but I've only heard the biggest news of my life 20 minutes ago, and I can't think straight right now.

Edit: OMG I just realized. All of my online names are somehow related to Sac. I'm not yet ready to change them all, but it's going ot hurt everytime I look at them. Maybe a mod who reads this could change my name/tag to something positive about C-Webb. We both need the support right now.
