I was rooting for a third triple double, but the win would have been nicer. alas we get neither

PS: What was with Marv Albert and the dyed red hair? God that was hideous.

Ok man time to let it go or are you just gonna go all the way and blame all your team's missed layups and 16 other losses on the "no call" as well, gee sorry the ref didn't give you and pussy-ass can't-dunk Brad Miller the benefit of the doubt when he got his weak shit swatted out of the arena and you didn't have the privilege of taking the Suns to OT, which wouldn't have been a guaranteed win by any means. Any team worth shit wouldn't let some little thing like that affect them at all anyway.
etiolate said:Uhm, both teams in the Suns-Kings games missed shots, missed layups even. Both teams had defensive lapses and all the other crap that is mentioned in sports cliches like "they should have done this.." I don't want to go into why that logic is blind, but really dude, using sports cliches is annoying and unflattering. Anyways, you don't want to light the fire here. I could go on a Loki sized rant on NBA officials, especially the Kings who have a history with them going back years upon years. Far before the Lakers series which gave them this image.
And any person worth a shit doesn't like the feeling of injustice. Goaltending, then the officials ran off the court without conferring on the play, then you get fined and suspended for someone else's mistake.
And--- I do think having your starting center would help a team rebound better, but maybe I am crazy.
Hey if you feel there is a close call against your team that went the other way in a regular season game, it's definitely fine to whine about it for a day or two, but to then go on blaming losses two days later on it and to continue whining is a bit overboard imo.
What you should really be worried about is Kobex rooting for your team. I don't know if you'll even win another game until that's taken care of.
etiolate said:Well I mentioned this game, because the lost the game due to rebounding and Miller would have helped there. That's all I was saying. It ended up costly to not have him.
I've warned him twice already!

It's sad when after moving Vince....an ex superstar who is now playing like one again, a man with the character of a greedy whore, the best player we recieved in that trade wants out, and he's not even that good(Eric Williams). These draft picks had better pay off...Or else we will have lost T Mac and Vince and gained nothing. That's pretty disgusting. Also, Jalen Rose is getting paid 16 million dollars! We have to move him, even if he's our best player at times, especially in the fourth. For some reason I think we'll stand pat at the deadline, although I hope I'm wrong. I don't know if our GM will lead us in the right direction, but the direction we're headed in now makes no bloody sense. Everyone's bitching and we don't have the pieces we need if we're going to build around Bosh.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Karl Malone is retiring, ending a career in which he became one of the NBA's greatest power forwards and was No. 2 on the league's all-time scoring list. Malone, who teamed with guard John Stockton for 18 seasons with Utah to form one of the NBA's greatest duos, will announce his retirement Sunday, the Jazz said Friday. Malone, who is 41 and underwent knee surgery last summer, is healthy and works out every day but has not played since last season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He joined the Lakers in an attempt to win an elusive NBA championship, but failed to do so despite playing with Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.
Malone will announce his exit at a news conference at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. His agent, Dwight Manley, said Malone was "very serious" about returning to action with the San Antonio Spurs before he decided to retire.
"I can tell you he's given a tremendous amount of thought to this decision, but the specific details are best left to him to make on Sunday," Manley said. Manley had said in October that his client wasn't ready to play but that if he returned, it would only be with the Lakers. That changed late last year after Malone was accused by Kobe Bryant of making a pass at his wife. Malone, through Manley, denied the accusation and apologized to Bryant and his wife for any remarks she might have considered inappropriate.
Stockton, who with Malone formed the famed pick-and-roll tandem, retired after the 2002-03 season.

BatiGOOOOOOL said:Whatever. Bruce gets so close to his man when defending that when the other guy jumps, both are always extremely close when the guy lands, especially when they try to jump towards Bruce. It's not his fault that guys like VC know shit about playing defense, so it's all new to them.
Kidd, on the other hand, knows how to play D and he recognized it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Hey Konex, that alleged All-Star went for 12 points in the 4th to help secure the win. I'm sure you think even Odom deserves it more. Too bad for you.
