Hopefully he wrestles again. Rock wrestling again along with the rumors that Stone Cold is coming back would make my watch again.
And fat ass foley was one of the most over guys, showing you don't have to 8ft tall and on steroids to get over. Vince seemed to ignore that lesson...
I don't think there's even been a wrestler as likable as Mick Foley in his late 90s push. Heck, I hated WWF back then and loved WCW, but when Schiavonne mentioned that he'd be winning the title later that night, I absolutely had to change the channel to watch it.
Only the great one can have such electrifying moments like this. Haven't watched wrestling in over a decade but this was pretty great. Damn I miss the attitude era
Ps: That Lana chick is fucking hot
http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-...n-to-return-rock-at-mania-raw-rss-issues-more-- Also, the reason I even brought up the idea of Rock vs. Rusev at WrestleMania on Wrestling Observer Radio last night was that it was a discussion point backstage at the show. Not in the sense that it is a match or is going to be a match, only that people were talking about the possibility given that Rock usually humiliates people much worse (Rock bottom, People's elbow, etc.), and they were very protective of Rusev overall. Plus, if Rock was going to make a surprise appearance and the only reason he was there was to just cut a promo on someone and lay them out, there are dozens of guys on the roster who could have been his foil. Personally, I can't imagine them booking that match, although I also couldn't imagine when I first heard about it last January that their idea for John Cena at WrestleMania was for him to wrestle Bray Wyatt, and they did it.
So why is Rusev such a big deal? Doesn't seem like a very memorable bad guy.

Because Vince still thinks it's the 1980's.
Lana is hot.

They're playing up the patriotism of every red blooded american and actually having him beat people to gain credibility. It's just a monster heel booked properly. So why is Rusev such a big deal? Doesn't seem like a very memorable bad guy.
Lana is so tsun <3
I feel like he's only really likable to people who relate to him. Foley was a great average dude who appealed to every age and gender. I feel like WWE's tried to make a lot of people into big teddy bears, and Foley was the only one people bought.Bryan was pretty damn likable as well. He's at least in the same tier.
Why? It'll only make them worse. Main roster WWE women's division is purposely kept awful.I'm just waiting for Charlotte and/or Bayley to get promoted to the main Divas roster.
That argument is dumb as hell, but to be fair, this show was in New York. They're always loud and expressive. But WWE fanatics on sites like WrestleZone told me that todays fans are just naturally quite, do not pop, and overall are watching wrestling like its tennis, in complete silence.
Thus the blame cannot be put on wrestlers, writers or bookers on why the people are so silent, wrestling is just as good today as it was back then its only nostalgia that you remember it differently and the thin--- oh shit Rock came back and its as if the 1998-2001 never went away!! Suddenly these silent fans reacted to everything and seemed genuinely excited, how about that huh? What a surprise, i am shocked.
That is what i most enjoy about these old guys coming back, it serves as a nice reference point to what once was and what it is today. And nobody can argue that, not even the biggest modern WWE fanboy can justify the difference other than what is plain for all to see.
He always, always was. The network educated me. Rock has always been this bad.Rock is so unbelievably corny in his promos now
