Yeah, for sure. There's always the Divas division, with the name and how they really doll themselves up to fight (who fucking does that). I get bored of them trying to talk the division up like they're about strong women, but I can't remember a time a woman in the WWE has ever spoken up for women in general in any way other than generically copying sports with Pink October.
I'll never forget Triple H telling Booker T "people like you don't win these championships," and then Triple H fucking beat him at Wrestlemania. It was the most obvious "our first black champion ever overcomes racism with all the odds against him" storyline, and then Triple H won.
