How spacious is the inside?

Mine's a 2-door (aka 3-door if you wanna be anal) so it's a bit of a hassle getting passengers into the back seats, but there's heaps of room back there. The 4-door version of the Golf has plenty of room in the back - probably as much as a small sedan (Audi A4 etc.).

I'm 6'1" tall, 7" uncut and there's heeeeaps of room for me in the drivers seat!

Hey guys, you may have seen my old car earlier... But I have decided to upgrade!

2005 Ford Falcon XR8 Enforcer. 260kW, 500nm 5.4L V8 6 Speed Manual. Had the test drive a couple of days ago, now just waiting for the insurance to come through before I pick it up (tough to get good insurance due to my age <25). It's got the FPV GT Wing, and a full quad-exhaust custom setup. Because it's the Enforcer model (Limited Edition 125 made, signed engine cover blah blah) it only comes in "Envy" Green. It's a little brighter in those pictures than in real life for some reason, but yeah... awesome car. So much grunt, looks mean in person, and it's just awesome to go back to a manual after 2.5 years in a 4sp Auto.

So guys, what do you think? Ignoring the obvious running cost increase :lol

Also, for anyone wondering wtf car this is... it's a Ford Australia Sedan. I don't think they export them out, so it's really an Aussie thing only.

This is my recent purchase as of Friday. been without a car for a while.

Its kind of an odd one in this thread, but it suits me perfectly and i love it - which is all that matters.

I plan use this ute to go camping, sleeping in a swag on the back and just the basics, as often as possible. take a kayak/canoe and some fishing rods... and a lovely lady.

15027258.jpg

only mods that i plan on installing are a note-worthy exhaust/extractors to give it more of a singing voice, and a flat panel sub to enhance the stock stereo. Other than that i'm over the moon with my purchase. It feels good to spoil yourself once in a while:D .

mine as well do some whoring to get some posts...

camaro is a blown 383 making 680 whp, 4.11's and a 6 speed. it hauls ASS.

the m3 is mostly suspension and reinforcment stuff, just about to hit 170K on it and i love it to death, but i wish it was black. I got a fair deal so i bought it. couldn't pass up an M3

What I'm riding in the meantime. '09 Ninja 250R. First bike. Have put 1700 miles on it in 2 months. LOVE IT, though it has all the power of a punch from Stephen Hawking.

turbo s2000 coming? those cars are tons of fun! but damn put anything but good rubber on them with stock suspension and it's shady town!

easily one of my favorite cars of the era.

and to the guy with that NSX, that thing is beautiful! i'm considering that or a viper GTS as my next fun car.

Was looking all over for a thread like this. It hasn't had any love in a while so I wanted to post some pics of the xBs my wife and I own. Her's is the green and mine is the blue. Lets see some more rides!

Looking to maybe pick this up from my cousin (it'll be the 2nd car I've bought from him) if he can't afford the insurance:

Has a Turbonetics T-66 single makes 650whp@32psi.

Conceited, I'm liking your collection.

Is the EVO X a 5MT? What've you done to it?

It's an '08 Canadian GSR, so it's a 5 speed, couldn't get into the paddles.

Custom 3" turbo-back exhaust with 3" downpipe and test pipe, just running a straight pipe with a single muffler. (I don't like the dual muffler look) HKS Super SSQV BOV and Cobb Tuning intake. Looking to do a basic tune/boost controller next.

Basically just a BPU (basic power upgrades), don't know what my future plans are for it now that I have the R32.

My first car purchase on my own; I have had it about 2 months now and couldn't be happier.
I love the handling.
I love the acceleration.
I love the smoothness of the transmission.
I love the sound of the exhaust.
I HATE the gas mileage lol

I am getting it washed, waxed and a full detailed buff sometime next week if it ever stops raining here in Florida. Will eventually take pics once it's actually looking clean. No mods yet but planning to in the future.

Sold my last car and bought this to make it through the Canadian winter.

G35/37 are great cars, VQ35's are some of the best sounding engines out there.

If you like the way it sounds you should consider straight piping it.

Good way to scare old women and children. :P
It sounds good until he lets go of the pedal. I think fitting a resonator would make it sound much better.

A bit too ricer for me. The most I will do is get an intake to make it a bit deeper, don't want anything louder though. All my mods will be pretty conservative, too many G owners go all racey and in the process loose the luxury.

Oh it's definitely not for everyone, but I prefer raw uncensored exhaust notes. (and the many tickets that come with them :P)

Picked this up from Japan a few months ago to replace my R32:

01 Evo 7

Currently has ohlins, cusco sway bars, endless pads and a full exhaust

JDM GT-Four? Nice car, my friend has one. Any mods?
thanks, haven't done much to it yet, waiting for spring to start some stuff. All its got is HKS intake, SSQV BOV and some after market exhaust it came with. FMIC and new exhaust are first on the list.

Let's see....My first car that I bought after high school in 2004 for $3200 was a 1973 Dodge Charger SE. I wanted a 1969 Charger (as one of my favorite vehicles is the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard) but at the time did not have enough money for one in decent shape.

Took 2 years with my dad and I working on it, but it turned out pretty nice for a General Lee replica:

After that, the family and I purchased the Sheriff's Car:

My current daily driver is a 2001 Inferno Red PT Cruiser - I don't have any recent pictures of the car, but it's chromed out all on the outside and I'm currently working on the interior.

Some pics of my 98 Accord. I bought this car for about $5500 cash almost a year ago. The car currently has 108k miles.

Love the car. I can get about 32MPG highway. :) I would like to upgrade to something a little newer soon, but for now, it serves its purpose.

Solid, bolt-ons are really all you need if you're wintering it anyways. Great winter cars for sure, did you import yourself or buy in-country?

New member of Mazda-GAF, here. 2005 Mazda 3, 5-speed.

I'll probably get the windows tinted eventually, but the car has been good to me so far stock.

This is my 1991 Nissan Maxima. It has 155,000 miles or so on it, and was a gift from my employer to ease my transition from Michigan to Oklahoma. This is what it looked like when I first got it (5,000 miles ago), and someone--they didn't leave a note--has since scuffed the driver side of the front bumper from poor parallel parking.

I plan on using my tax refund money on fixing up this car, because it needs to be repaired. It was left sitting in a parking space for a while by my employer, so different seals and tubes are wearing out on it now that it's my car.

It's fuel efficiency is lower than that of other cars of this size, but I do enjoy the sportiness of the car and that the pep doesn't come at the sacrifice of cargo or seat space.

Thank you, Flickr, for the hosting.

I bought my first new car back in October: a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. I couldn't afford the Ralliart and definitely not an Evo. =(

Yay! Nice choice. :)

5 speed or CVT?

I'll trade you taillights, I love the new style taillights but last time I went in and asked they said they wanted like $800 for them. :(

CVT. I've driven stick maybe three times total in my life, so I'm not really comfortable with it.

I test drove the CVT before I bought the EVO, it was actually pretty nice, especially if you commute in traffic.

Best looking car in its class IMO.

Preview of the next executive whip, should arrive in April/May:
