MAZDA GAF 4LYFE YO

07 Mazda3.

Such an awesome little car. Cheap, excellent fuel economy, great reliability, and really fun to drive.

I love the Mazda 3s, but I'd say they get more "good/appropriate" fuel economy than "excellent". They tend to hover around the 25-30MPG mark. Mazda makes fun cars, but none of them really get amazing fuel economy, and let's not even talk about the RX-8. :lol

^^
I love the instrument panels and displays on the new Civics. Honda has been winning the design war against Toyota these last couple of years.

Yeah, I like how they keep it simple, streamlined. I'm definitely a less-is-more person when it comes to dashboards. I'm not a big fan of the faux carbon fiber crap my Protege has, and hate how they kinda went "look red glowy things" with some of the Mazda 3s.

Really?

I've found that the 3s with the 2.0 engine can easily get over 30mpg, although you are right about it if you are talking about the 2.3 engine which is whats in my GT. It's tough to hit 30mpg with that engine.

My second car: 2003 Honda S2000.
Yes, there is a glaring flaw on the exterior. :(

I love the S2K. I've been thinking about moving up to one from my 2008 Civic SI which is nothing more than a baby s2k.

I had a deposit down on a 2010 Cadillac CTS coupe.

cadillac_cts_coupe_0_430.jpg

The normal CTS is a beauty but far too big for my needs. I love the styling on this and the size is perfect for me. Unfortunately with GM's troubles, I'm skeptical that this car will become a reality. And if they go bankrupt, I'm skeptical of getting my deposit back. So between that and my own financial issues, I bailed.

Anyway, I decided to wait and see if they come out with the CTS-V coupe that's been rumored. I saw a CTS-V on the road the other week and the sound of that car is just incredible. Unfortunately my 2005 Corolla S and its 132 wild Japanese horses will have to fit the bill for a while longer :)

sold my car but i may have still have pics... it was a '93 honda civic del sol with a 2000 b16a2 (civic si) motor. integra gs-r rims and tranny. heavy aspiration work, mild head work. full coilovers + suspension work...

sigh....

I opted for the 2.0L 5spd as it still has kick and better fuel economy- and I'll regularly get over 35mpg highway (epa is 28/35mpg). The extra 8hp for the 2.3L wasn't worth the tradeoff.

Accord Coupe, don't have a pic of mine but this one is just like it.
DSC05890.jpg

you know whats funny is I work at a Honda dealer and see these all the time but I guess I dont see many actual pics of the car. When I saw this I was like "wow thats a fuckin nice....Accord."

I really like the design but refuse to get one ATM because my boss is driving one and Id hate to have anything in common with him.

Those 19" wheels do the trick on the coupe.

this is my current ride. 07 Civic EX 5spd

Got it 2 weeks ago (only 60.000 km from previous owner), very satisfied. One minor setback - wierd bug in travelling computer triggers EPC warning light for no reason. I'll replace travelling computer in next few months (500 € :| )

Here's my current car. It's probably the most uncool car of the whole thread. A 15 year old Suzuki Wagon R.

It's good for driving around Japan, because of the thin roads. It also handles like a go-kart since the tires are tiny. Bad parts are no cup holder, Only one door for the back seat, and you sit literally shoulder to shoulder in the front seats. I love it though.

I drive a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria:

I love it despite the fact that it looks like an old man's type of a car. :lol

I'm the proud owner of this Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8. It has a turbo, leather seats and 156hp. I love it, the perfect car for me.

Sorry for the bump but I'm really happy just finished test driving and put down a downpayment on this tonight:

2007 Maxima SE... 25,973 off-lease. Beautiful kept, all the extra toys, bluetooth, power mirrors, heated seats, heated steering wheel etc.... We did the financing separately so all we had to do is go haggle price. We pulled our usual the demanding wife deal where I play the meek guy who well has to cave in to his wife. In this case we'd found another Maxima at another dealership, same features and color, slightly more expensive... Finally after going back and forth a bit we left the office to go get in our car, just as I was grabbing the door handle they called us back in saying they accepted our offer.

I pick it up Thursday.. I am so f'n hyped!!!!

I have a blue 2004 Honda Accord. I'm too lazy to go take pictures now, and it's dark out. So blah. It belonged to a salesman from a car dealership before me. Got it pretty cheap. Pretty awesome. Lots of miles on the car though.

Actually, they're not heavy at all. 22lbs front, 23 rear (the 2nd lightest of all the Zs offerings). It's the reason why I still have them, because I can't find a rim light enough that's worth a purchase. All of the "lightweight" rims I see are 20lbs, 21lb, 22lbs -- not worth the price for a pound or 2 of savings.

What I did do was get rid of my terrible OEM Potenzas, and get Michelin Pilot Sports, which saved me 7lbs per tire. Weight reduction has been just one of my many mods. =)

OH shit! fellow ORG'er:D

Latest addition. A buddy of mine can make stickers so he made me a few of these.

Saw a pic of a golf, but any other Rabbit/Golf owners on GAF? Are you happy withy your purchase?

2007 Golf GTI Edition 30 for me. Used to drive a 1999 Golf GTI and loved that as well.

This is my current baby, had him for 2 months but am hopefully trading for an R32 as this thing can NOT handle putting all its power to the road in the wet.

Like I said a ways back, I'm driving a 2007 Toyota Yaris. Though I joked about it up there, I really do love it. Extremely reliable, interesting exterior & interior design, & not underpowered like some other cars in its class I test drove. Only problem is, it seems like every body around here has one, & in the exact same color as mine. I think it'd be neat to get some faux-wood panels & surfboard racks installed, repaint it turquoise, & make it a little beach car.

Anyway, I came in here to post the final image of my baby, the car I just sold to pay the bills. Lucy, my 1973 Plymouth Valiant. Also, aside from that one guy, the classic car quotient here is super low--here's my contribution.

I figure I'll add my new car to this thread.

Moving from a 2005 Mazda 3 hatch to the new 2009 Mazda 6. it's the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine, 6 speed manual.

I got the sport package so I get a moonroof and some other niceties.

I've had it for a couple weeks and it's very good to me so far. pleasure to drive and I love the interior.
