My ride, although I like it the damn thing is just too expensive. I am trying to sell it to buy a new motorcycle and a shit car.

I haven't taken any recent pics of it, but this is my 2008 Saturn Sky Redline on the lot in LA when I bought it. I then proceeded to drive it across the US to Maryland, and it is a quite a trooper of a car.

It's rare to see these on the roads around here, think I've only spotted 2 or 3 the entire time. I'd like to do some mods on it once the weather is nicer.

Nice car since it's a Redline model. I would have had to laugh at you if it wasn't, cuz then it's a chick car.

Well I am a chick, so I wouldn't feel that hurt. ;)

But I did spend the extra time looking for a green redline, cause what's the point of a convertible without a turbo after all?

Once the warranty runs out, I'll probably get it performance tuned. Now if only I could find some custom replacement interior parts...

GM's Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits don't void the warranty. I'm not sure how much they cost, but they are probably worth looking into if they are still available.

Lol, I guess I kind of asked for that one didn't I. Feel good for choosing an actually cool car and being a chick at the same time! Congrats!

An S2000 would have been cooler. ;)

The Cruze is really growing on me. Originally I thought it looked like a Korean knockoff of the Malibu. Like Chevrolet handed a picture of the Malibu to Daewoo and said "Here, make a smaller version of this." But from what I've heard it's a pretty good car. I see yours is an LT. It comes with the turbo 1.4L then, right? How does it run?

It's a 1LT, the only difference feature wise off the top of my head is the bigger rims, heated seats, sunroof and climate control. The LS model comes with the 1.8 non-turbo.

My first turbo-equipped vehicle, and you can definitely tell a difference. Still getting used to the connectivity of the car, bluetooth is great, the flash drive for music is a nice touch too.

Here's my other car (cuz the Caddy doesn't guzzle enough gas... I'm trying to speed up global warming so Southern IL can get some tropical weather).

Nice, that's a cousin of my car, a 1976 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency.

The sound of your exhaust surprised me. Wasn't expecting that from a Jetta. Sounds good and looks good too. If you don't mind, show us some pics of the interior.

The sun wasn't in the best spot, but I took some:

It's all black interior, and looks brand new except for a few small places. And the steering wheel, which is a little worn on spots. But whoever owned the car last took real good car of it.

Tha's what I'm talking about!!! 3G Acura TL. I have a 2007 with updated navi, front fascia, fogs and taillights. I upgraded mine with back-up camera and converted all the interior lights with LEDs. Looks boss. A-SPEC bodykit and tint is next. I love Acura.

Honestly, the 3G TL is one of the sexiest cars ever.. the lines are so clean, and so classic. Its a timeless design that will hold up in 20 years. The newer ones scare me, no really.. lol.

So I have the stock GPS upgrade on mine but I'd LOVE to get some fogs done. Does doing so require a new front bumper or fascia to accomidate space? I would not want to 'mod' my stock bumper to make room, I'm all about clean look.

LED interior sounds extremely hot, do you have any pics?

Agreed! The new model change was very disappointing to me.

I also use white LEDs for my license plate light. Gives it that Lexus look.

As for the fogs, I think you would have to change the bumper. I have read that some people use Accord fogs for their TL's.

I'll take some pics for you.

Love the interior JackEtc.

Before I bought the g35, I very nearly pulled the trigger on a 3G TL. It's such a good looking car. The G is way more fun to drive, though.

It's criminal what Acura did to the TL design :(

Yeah it's only got 60k original miles... it was my aunt's car (who just turned 92 yesterday!), she finally sold it to me last year after it had been sitting in her garage since 07. It's not perfect though, the paint is starting to fade a bit, the driver side door arm rest thing has some wear, and it's missing the emblem that covers the trunk lock, but I plan on getting all that fixed eventually. I think I will just shave off the trunk lock completely and get an acuator put in so I can only open it with the security system which I am about to get installed (which makes it harder for someone to break into the trunk after I get my system installed). The car has power everything... except locks, so I have to buy acuators for each door, which come out to be $80 per door. :( I might just have them do the driver's side door. Right now I can't even lock the doors otherwise I can't get back into the car because the keys are so worn.

I still have to decide what color to get it painted, I thinking like a hot red because I would like to go with an Elektra Assassin theme. Anyway here are a couple of pics of the interior.

Hey duk, how do you like your Akrapovic so far? Did you get the full system? How is the drone and resonance?

Akra is amazing. I have the full evol system, but started with just rear section. Sound is godly with ZERO drone!!! Loud just enough when you get on it, but otherwise very very civil.

Drop it, put some gold wired spokes and I'd be your best friend.

I would love to have the Akra, but I cant pay that much for an exhaust lol. I might try to find a used Active Autowerks if possible. Akra is beautiful though!

Nice I love Apline White, it shows the lines very well. My Jerez Black looks a little muted in that department, but I love the blue sheen in sunlight over the black. I just ordered some Apex ARC-8 wheels this month, I will have to post some pics after I get them on.

Since we're posting cars, I thought I'd post my new baby. First time buying a brand new car, came off the lot with 8 miles on it after test driving. Before setting my eyes on the Cruze, I was looking into a Ford Focus, I think I made a good call.[/QUOTE]

Sweet, I can just use your pictures, because I have the exact same car (unless you have the manual transmission)

Went down to the lot, kind of thinking of a Mazda 3, and had never heard of the Cruze. And left with one. Then drove over 400 miles on the 13 (or so) gallon tank. :D

I got around 400 miles on that first tank of gas too, currently working on my second filled tank. Probably would have gotten more, but I like to have a heavy foot sometimes ;P

Yeah, still got a bit of a heavy foot, after coming off my old SE-R. Also kind of missing my manual...Need to mess around more with the pad shifting, cause I want to say 3rd or 4th gear tends to last too long.

But man, love that I can plug my ipod into the console and control it from the screen. Not sure if I'll keep the OnStar, and I already have a lifetime sub on Sirius unit, that doesn't work (yet) through the screen. But the connectivity of the XM in the car is nice.

I gotta assume that first tank, the dealer puts in Premium or something, because I want to say the 2nd tank (of nice $3.27 cheap gas) is going "a little bit" faster

Oooh....wonder how much it would cost to get my grey cloth interior changed to this. I likee

I'll probably go with the $20/month On-Star when the time comes, I haven't really used it to talk to them, but I like the phone app that monitors the tire psi, gas level and other things.

I accidently hit the button when I was adjusting the mirror for nighttime. Then trying to figure out how to disconnect, I hit emergency. And I hug up when they tried to call. Spent the rest of the trip home wondering "do I have the national guard after me?"

Maybe a little bit too paranoid ;P

Do like the "buying phone minutes" to use, seperate from your cell phone minutes. And speaking in regular tone and speed to dial the numbers is impressive.

My wife just bought this..

I let her use my 2005 Ranger pickup as a trade in and took her old car.
That means I am now the proud driver of...

You chose wisely, it's the looker of your other options. Although the PT crusier is cool in it's own way :)
