If you do, post your impressions. Wife wants one.

Nista said:I haven't taken any recent pics of it, but this is my 2008 Saturn Sky Redline on the lot in LA when I bought it. I then proceeded to drive it across the US to Maryland, and it is a quite a trooper of a car.
It's rare to see these on the roads around here, think I've only spotted 2 or 3 the entire time. I'd like to do some mods on it once the weather is nicer.

Nice car since it's a Redline model. I would have had to laugh at you if it wasn't, cuz then it's a chick car.

GM's Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits don't void the warranty. I'm not sure how much they cost, but they are probably worth looking into if they are still available.Nista said:Well I am a chick, so I wouldn't feel that hurt.
But I did spend the extra time looking for a green redline, cause what's the point of a convertible without a turbo after all?
Once the warranty runs out, I'll probably get it performance tuned. Now if only I could find some custom replacement interior parts...

Like Chevrolet handed a picture of the Malibu to Daewoo and said "Here, make a smaller version of this." But from what I've heard it's a pretty good car. I see yours is an LT. It comes with the turbo 1.4L then, right? How does it run?
Nice, that's a cousin of my car, a 1976 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency.SlaughterX said:Here's my other car (cuz the Caddy doesn't guzzle enough gas... I'm trying to speed up global warming so Southern IL can get some tropical weather).

TSX. Why not a TL?Malleymal said:![]()
My new girl... Black interior though.
Tha's what I'm talking about!!! 3G Acura TL. I have a 2007 with updated navi, front fascia, fogs and taillights. I upgraded mine with back-up camera and converted all the interior lights with LEDs. Looks boss. A-SPEC bodykit and tint is next. I love Acura.alphaNoid said:2006 Acura TL

Honestly, the 3G TL is one of the sexiest cars ever.. the lines are so clean, and so classic. Its a timeless design that will hold up in 20 years. The newer ones scare me, no really.. lol.tarius1210 said:Tha's what I'm talking about!!! 3G Acura TL. I have a 2007 with updated navi, front fascia, fogs and taillights. Agreed! The new model change was very disappointing to me.alphaNoid said:Honestly, the 3G TL is one of the sexiest cars ever.. the lines are so clean, and so classic. Its a timeless design that will hold up in 20 years. The newer ones scare me, no really.. lol.
I also use white LEDs for my license plate light. Gives it that Lexus look.alphaNoid said:Honestly, the 3G TL is one of the sexiest cars ever.. the lines are so clean, and so classic. Its a timeless design that will hold up in 20 years. The newer ones scare me, no really.. lol.
So I have the stock GPS upgrade on mine but I'd LOVE to get some fogs done. Does doing so require a new front bumper or fascia to accomidate space? I would not want to 'mod' my stock bumper to make room, I'm all about clean look.
LED interior sounds extremely hot, do you have any pics?

Hey duk, how do you like your Akrapovic so far? Did you get the full system? How is the drone and resonance?duk said:mines and some friends!

SlaughterX said:Yeah it's only got 60k original miles... it was my aunt's car (who just turned 92 yesterday!), she finally sold it to me last year after it had been sitting in her garage since 07. It's not perfect though, the paint is starting to fade a bit, the driver side door arm rest thing has some wear, and it's missing the emblem that covers the trunk lock, but I plan on getting all that fixed eventually. I think I will just shave off the trunk lock completely and get an acuator put in so I can only open it with the security system which I am about to get installed (which makes it harder for someone to break into the trunk after I get my system installed). The car has power everything... except locks, so I have to buy acuators for each door, which come out to be $80 per door.I might just have them do the driver's side door. Right now I can't even lock the doors otherwise I can't get back into the car because the keys are so worn.
I still have to decide what color to get it painted, I thinking like a hot red because I would like to go with an Elektra Assassin theme. Anyway here are a couple of pics of the interior.
duk said:Akra is amazing. I have the full evol system, but started with just rear section. Sound is godly with ZERO drone!!! Loud just enough when you get on it, but otherwise very very civil.

Since we're posting cars, I thought I'd post my new baby. First time buying a brand new car, came off the lot with 8 miles on it after test driving. Before setting my eyes on the Cruze, I was looking into a Ford Focus, I think I made a good call.[/QUOTE]
Sweet, I can just use your pictures, because I have the exact same car (unless you have the manual transmission)
Went down to the lot, kind of thinking of a Mazda 3, and had never heard of the Cruze. And left with one. Then drove over 400 miles on the 13 (or so) gallon tank. :D
Weenerz said:I'll probably go with the $20/month On-Star when the time comes, I haven't really used it to talk to them, but I like the phone app that monitors the tire psi, gas level and other things.
LOL That's amazing. Well played, BMW.duk said:sorry had to post this
